    The location is excellent, close to Port Issac, only 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive, but not in Port Issac. Port Gaverne is a picturesque and nice location in a small inlet. The hotel is well located looking out to sea. The rooms are not large, but they are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The balconies for some rooms are nice touches. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar is cosy and nice. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is dog friendly.

    As always the hotel is a comfortable inviting and relaxing place to stay. The staff are very friendly professional and extremely pleasant,they could not do enough for you. The food served (we had an evening meal there) was well cooked very tasty and well presented. The location as always glorious (apart from the gradual deterioration of the unused hotel at the top of the hill) good walks abound in the area and the hotel is dog friendly. Literally what more could you ask for!!

    Loved the location near beach! We walked to port Isaac for Doc Martin tour, which is why we stayed here. The breakfast was amazing! They kindly accommodated our family of 4 with an extra bed. Very dog friendly community and it was fun to see all the pups hanging out!

    As soon as I saw the dog water bowls at the entrance, my heart melted, as I once had a Westie and my late husband and I would have loved to stay at this pet-friendly hotel. The staff is very friendly and my room was freshened up each day during my stay. I was also pleasantly surprised to have a lovely terrace with an amazing view. I truly loved this place!

    The property was in a lovely rural location and was a short drive to lots of lovely local towns/ villages such as Port Isaac and Padstow. Tracey, the host, was very accommodating and offered both early check in and late check out which was great. We brought our dog with us and the property was very pet friendly. We hope to visit again in warmer months to enjoy the balcony more!

    Location was perfect and lovely sea view. Nice to have somewhere pet friendly where you aren't charged extra. Well heated even in the wind and rain Potential to be some really lovely cosy cabins.

    This is a 5* Inn rather than an hotel. The rooms are small but have everything you need, it’s dog friendly so the carpets are a bit scruffy but slippers are provided. The food was lovely as were the staff and the location absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful weekend, thank you to all at Port Gaverne
