Everything was ready when we arrived, the hosts (Tom & Lucinda) were wonderful and accommodating. Wood was provided for the fireplace. Stand-by lights and a gas cooker was provided for when there was load shedding/blackouts. We had an afternoon walk with Tom & Lucinda to see if their cows had calves, spent about 2 hours in the field chatting and getting to know about the history of the farm. The views over the Dargle valley are spectacular.

WERE TO START, the lodge is spacious, comfortable, well appointed and has everything you need and then some. The view of the damn from the lodge is fantastic and you can wander down and jump I. The supplied kayak and go for a paddle and a fish. The host are kind and welcoming. I can speak highly enough of this destination as a stay .
