So, everything I say about Hotel Castillio El Loco and surrounding area may be rose tinted just a little... It is fair to say we had one of the best weeks of our lives here with a sea view from our room that was simply breath taking! The staff were amazing friendly and efficient. The rooms were spotless and well attended. The terrace bar and restaurant are very popular with the locals which in itself is a great recommendation. Its a quirky fun relaxed place. Great for couples in our opinion.. You will over look a wonderful bay and beach on one side and Suances beaches and marina on the other. You are not far from Santander and there are lots of beautiful places to visit but, why bother...

The apartment, set in a building dating from 2023, is 31 km from Santander Port and 32 km from Puerto Chico. Campo Municipal de Golf Matalenas is 33 km away and La Magdalena Palace is 35 km from the apartment. Fabulous, the apartment was amazing, it was comfortable,warm and clean. It was absolutely spotless. The beds were superb with very good bedding,we slept very well. The internet worked well and there was a modern TV. I liked the position,it was very central,with 2supermarkets,a minute away, there was a chemist,bakery,butcher, and a veterinary all within a minute or two. There was parking in front of the apartment,we never had a problem parking. There area around was absolutely beautiful, a great part of Spain.

The apartment has family rooms. I liked the size of the apartment, pretty spacious. Very clean, equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils. Comfortable bed if you like firm mattresses (I liked it very much). Heaters in every room, including the bathroom.

Situated in Santillana del Mar, 27 km from Santander Port, Posada La Fontana features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The property has mountain and garden views, and is 28 km from Puerto Chico. The guest house features family rooms. The room had all we needed, nice clean bathroom, spacious closet, little balcony with a view to the mainland and most importantly a comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which has been sourced by local products, and served by our friendly host directly to the table.

This recently renovated apartment is located 40 km from Puerto Chico and 40 km from Santander Festival Palace. Each room includes a patio with garden views. Toni was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. The Accomodation was more than clean, with lots of features, enough space for four people. The flat was nicely decorated with drawings from a local (we guess) artist, without being loaded. Toni uses sustainable cleaning stuff and invites his guests to use water responsably. The view from the terace was insanely beautyful. You see lots of nature and the sea. We could use the bbq and enjoy dinner with perfect view.
