The Drake Circus shopping centre is 12 minutes’ walk away and the famous Barbican district is 5 minutes’ walk from the property. Excellent hosts, perfect location, and amazing space! We stopped in Plymouth for just one day and the location was very central, easily walkable to all of the historic downtown, shops, and harbour. The staff were accommodating of our dietary restrictions at breakfast and were very lovely! Would definitely stay here again.

The George Hotel's historic exterior hides modern interiors and facilities. The room was clean and warm on a chilly night, bed was comfy, breakfast was very nicely cooked and presented and staff were friendly. Tea making facilities with a biscuit was appreciated and the rom decor was admired.

Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. Super cute and historical. Gardens we’re fabulous and the food exceptional!

Lovely quiet location surprisingly easy to find and it felt.very secure. The room was perfect for us and our two spaniels and it was lovely to have a kitchen right next door so we could make breakfast and tea in the morning. There was bread, yogurts and jams left out for us and coffee pods in the room so we couldn't have asked for more for an overnight stay. Having easy access straight out onto the grassed area in the morning was perfect for the dogs and both owners were lovely and friendly when we met them. Definitely will return when visiting the moors or the zoo which was just down the road. Thank you too Debbie for posting hubby's jumper back. You're a super host 😁.

Very nice location with easy access to the city centre. Cosy and clean apartment. We slept wonderfully in nice beds. Beautiful view from our apartment. We can highly recommend a stay at The Torcroft Apartments.
