This property was beautiful, in a quiet area, and a quick 10 minute drive to the city center. The place itself was very clean, comfortable and the views are amazing. This is also in walking distance to a Bonus, coffee shop and a burger place. I highly recommend booking this place if you’re looking! The owners also provided us with a very helpful email on the basics of the house.

The property is 14 km from Downtown Reykjavík and boasts views of the ocean. A very nice house with all you need. Great location: close to the capital by car but outside the city in a protected area with the a lot of different birds. Quiet and very clean. Helpful owners. A very good place.

Hotel Reykjavík Grand’s spacious rooms have a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. Many of the rooms offer sea, mountain or city views. Everything was perfect - the room, the staff, the food - my sister and I were blown away, frankly. Staff offered helpful advice for travelling, restaurant staff made us smile and went out of their way to be lovely, the food was, honestly, exceptional. Couldn't have been better and was thoroughly impressive!

Newly renovated during the spring of 2023, Hotel Local 101 is an independent hotel quietly tucked away in the heart of downtown Reykjavik, on a charming street made up of classical Icelandic homes. Ideally located, a mere 3-minute walk from the harbor, the modern art museum, shops, cafes, bars and restaurants where the Icelandic local energy can be felt. Amazing location, wonderful breakfast, tiny but functional and cozy room. Close to public transportation, helpful staff. We only discovered the free tea and cake on the last day, that was a wonderful surprise. The apple-ginger juice in the morning is something I am truly missing back home. The bed was amazing, appreciated the multiple pillows!
