Staff are very welcoming from the offer of a complimentary granita upon arrival to the delicious almond cookies provided for our drive the day we departed.

Villa Athena, a modern 5-star hotel, is located within Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features a wellness centre, an outdoor pool, and both free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. The view was just breathtaking as well as the hotel itself. It is right next to the archeological park and everything was just like taken out of a dream. The staff was amazing and available at any time. If you can, choose the rooms with a view of the temples as you won't regret it, if you don't you might. Also, breakfast at the hotel was outstanding.

Grand Hotel Et Des Palmes is an elegant Art Nouveau building, right outside the restricted traffic area. It is a 5-minute walk from Palermo’s Massimo and Politeama Theatres. The property has classically furnished rooms and an extensive continental breakfast.

Palermo Port, where ferries depart for Cagliari and Naples, is a 10-minute walk away. Palermo Cathedral is 1.6 km from the hotel. Excellent location, luxury hotel, with extremely kind staff. We loved the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Set in beautiful countryside less than 1km from Piazza Armerina, Villa Trigona is an 18th-century building with large gardens, where you can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere and numerous sports.

Once home to Sicilian nobles, Villa Trigona’s elegant rooms and lounges still contain antiques. Rooms have lovely countryside views and on site you will find a lounge with an old fireplace, a small library and a TV room. all the staff was super friendy. We enjoyed the dinner so much. What for an experience. You have to try! The breakfast was way over average too.
