The location was off the main road so noise wasn't a problem. The Wifi was recently upgraded to Starlink so it was super fast and reliable. The hosts were very nice and accommodating with lots of helpful suggestions to ensure we were getting the most out of our stay. The room was very large with a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was also very spacious.

Set in Santa Monica, a few steps from Alegria Beach, DaRosa Del Mar offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. With a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can have a drink at the bar. I loved everything about my stay there. I had initially booked 2 nights at DaRosa Del Mar but I had 2 flights canceled last minute because of bad weather. The owner had organized a pick up for me at the airport both time, didn’t ask for anything and even refunded me 50% as I could not make it. I ended up arriving a few days later than initially planned at the north of the island and booked 1 more night there. Best choice! Staff was super welcoming, food was good, the rooms are as clean, comfortable and well-furnished as they could be, and the place with the private beach is truly beautiful. Definitely recommend to stay a few nights there if you’re visiting the north of Siargao!!

Everything was great, the family were SO lovely and friendly. You can pay a tiny bit extra to have dinner together with them. They have a few rooms so there was other travellers there too and a nice big spaces outside to hang out. The bed was comfy, they have free water, you can use they kitchen and then can arrange everything there like surf lessons and scooter etc for a good price.
