I LOVED this apartment. It is beautifully renovated two bedrooms in older apartment building. Everything is "just right". It has the appearance of an interior designer. Attention to detail for everything. It's spotless. Clean linens & towels are provided. The building is very quiet. The neighborhood is safe. Parking is very easy on either Alsace street or the diagonal parking spots along the canal. The streets are mostly wide in this area of town. No problems getting around if you have GPS. I walked 22 minutes to the Walled City. Glad I did. Great restaurant down the block. L'Opale. Staff made me feel welcome. Chef explained all menu items. ( In English).

Small extra touches like fresh milk, tea and coffee were a welcome addition . The owners met us at the apartment and provided us with a city map and other helpful advice. The castle us about a 2 km walk from the property but this is. a very interesting walk which takes in the ancient town. so glad we found this property!

    Very good stay with family of 5. Great location, within walking distance to city center and also to La Cité (about 20 minutes, up the hill, but doable). We went during Christmas season and the town was truly alive, lots of markets and attractions. Comfortable house, easy access (with code to the door). And the jacuzzi certainly a plus. Lots of options for commerce (market, bakery, etc.) and restaurants nearby. Would certainly stay here again.

    1) we liked the design of the apartment and the bed - the mattress is great especially after a long walk in the city. 2) you can heat up the apartment so we were not cold, which is nice 3) location is great - not far from the train station and from the city center

    Lots of character and big room. Lovely British couple made us very welcome. Great location near city centre and very close to the bridge across to the medieval city. Excellent breakfast. Car parking outside along the riverside or underground paid parking close by.

    Good location: 5 minutes to the castle and 10-15 minutes to the city center Good environment: I have everything needed in the room, air conditioner works so well! The dogs are cute, the owner is friendly and nice. A shared kitchen allows you to cook. Free coffee and tea is served.

    The location was excellent for walking into the city centre for sightseeing and restaurants. Also it was only a short walk to cross the river to visit the castle. The view from the apartment lounge, bedroom and balcony of the castle on the hill opposite was stunning. The apartment was very well equipped. We especially appreciated the washing machine (once I turned the water supply to it on), there being a bath and plentiful hot water. It was very quiet, especially at night.

    John is an excellent host, very informative and happy to help. The room was large and very comfortable. The location was near to the city centre however quite for sleep. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the basic cooking needs. The bathroom had amazing water pressure and was very roomy.

    Great breakfast selection, very clean room and facilities with bright appearance and little stories with reference to Carcassone's history, friendly staff, casual atmosphere, green outside area, quiet location in short walking to La Cité, even city centre was within walking distance.

    An exceptional property in every way!!! We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay in Carcassonne! The room was huge and stunning! The bed was super comfortable and the bath was devine! Breakfast was superb and far surpassed any expectations! Delicious and wonderful selection of food for breakfast. The location was perfect. Fabulous hosts. This is definitely a place we would highly recommend to anyone. We would love to return one day!
