Staff at reception was super friendly and very helpful, the suite was very clean and we even received a dog treatment in the room - which was a cherry on the top :) The location is great, the town is very cute and perfect to enjoy some sightseeing or a walk. The location was ideal for our activity, cycling the River Danube between Passau and Vienna stopping at small hotels en route. We hadn’t realised the hotel owner had embraced an ethos around bio sustainability, local produce and services but were pleased to have the experience of our stay. The buffet breakfast was one of the best on our trip and consisted very good quality produce. The hotel owner recommended a local restaurant, making no secret of the fact it was part of the vineyard operation owned and run by her family and it too was a truly excellent experience. The owner and staff were a delight to deal with.

This apartment is amazing. The facilities are excellent, a modern residence in an old house. We just had to g’et used to the fact that everything was open-area, kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom in a large room. However, the toilet is on it’s own 😀. Lovely large balcony. The village it-selskab is a bit dull, but surrounded by vineyards and from the bedroom window it overbookes the beautiful monastery of Stift Göttweig.
