This is great place to stay. The house has been beautifully restored and the views are incredible. Hilde and Jan are the perfect hosts and they have put a great deal of passion and energy into this house and created a welcoming, homely and relaxed environment. A delightful stay in an amazing part of Spain. The hosts made us very welcome. The whole place is tastefully done but the rooms are even nicer! The bed was large and comfortable and the bathroom was a delight. Huge shower! We went for a walk through the almond groves before dinner and the views were super! There are a number of different routes to take that have been marked out in colours. We took the short one! I would definitely recommend the supper option as Hilde is a great cook! To top it all we ended by watching the full moon come up over the hills! Perfect! In all, we had a wonderful time and would recommend a stay at Luz de la Luna

We loved Casita Etherose, the views are simply stunning and the casita is very comfortable and had everything we needed, beds were comfy and the hosts were on hand if we needed anything (which we didn't, everything went so smoothly) but also gave us privacy. Debbie and Mark are the best hosts you could hope for, they were so welcoming and we really appreciated the advice they were able to give to us (we plan to move here this year). We didn't use the pool as we came in winter (we were welcomed with a roaring fire) but the pool and BBQ area is really lovely and we are looking forward to using it in the summer when we will be back, the views around the house are out of this world and the night sky is something to behold. In terms of location, we loved the fact that you are in the country and it is peaceful and very quiet but also just over two miles from an autovia. The casita was easy to find and in a great location for getting around, we went to Almeria, Alicante, Aguilas, Huercal Overa, Velez Rubio, Velez Blanco, Albox, Cabo de Gato, San Jose and all were easy to get to.
