Looking for a hotel with pools?

‘Does it have a pool?’ is arguably one of the most common questions when booking a stay in any location. These hotels offer a great way to keep active during your holiday without having to hit the gym. Indoor pools allow you to practice your backstroke come rain or shine, whereas outdoor options allow you to relax on a sun lounger after swimming a few lengths.

We found our beds and pillows very comfortable. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was on all the time and this made our room too hot. The swimming pool was very nice and the thermal outdoor pool was wonderful. Good selection of breakfast options. The toaster only toasted one side of the bread, but overall we were very happy.

Good spacious room with a nice view of the gardens. Indoor pool a good size and as a swimmer I liked the lane swimming. Pleasant surprise with the heated outdoor pool and spa where we could relax in the sun. Stunning building which was well maintained. Nice gardens, which again were well kept. A food manager asked us for feedback and we had a minor issue with breakfast, which he fixed so thank you for that.

The hotel is central and on a great bus route with a useful short stay car park two blocks away. All the staff were genuinely helpful. The Spa / swimming pool was excellent with lots of buttons to press to activate whirlpools and an impressive waterfall installation. Breakfast was marvellous with cooked to order beautifully presented kippers and waffles with bacon and maple syrup. Also a great breakfast buffet with fresh fruit.

The pools and hot tub were lovely! We loved the indoor pool with the jets and I especially loved the outdoor pool, something about swimming in the rain is very therapeutic. Really enjoyed using all 3 along with the sauna and steam room! The staff were 10/10!
