Rooms at the Cala Bona y Mar Blava are simple and comfortable. They all have a ceiling fan, minibar and satellite TV. The private bathrooms have hairdryers. Lovely hotel right on the water with stunning views and a lovely breakfast. The sunset from my window was amazing. Staff were very friendly and the room was comfy and clean.

Situated on the 6th floor, the hotel’s SPA has a sun terrace with spectacular views of the city and harbor. It includes a sauna, steam bath, and hot tub with a range of beauty treatment offers. I loved the Green Lounge where free drinks and snacks (beer & wine, soft drinks, tea & coffee) were available (self service) until midnight. It gave a nice atmosphere to the hotel. I enjoyed reading a book, chilling there at the end of my day. The breakfast was lovely, with an "egg station" where eggs were made on the spot to your liking (the lady was lovely, a pleasure to see here every morning). Also, I checked out at 6.20am and the day before the lovely lady at reception offered breakfast to go, which was very handy. Make sure to ask the day before. The room was spacious, well thought and nothing beats Italian showers. The location was good for me - walking distance from the port and restaurants (Mahón is rather small). Also it is close to the airport (10min by bus - L10) which drops you at the bus station (3 min away from the hotel). The same bus station allows you to travel around the island if you didn't rent a car. It takes 1h to go to Ciutadella, on the other side of the island (50min with the Xpress bus).

We had a wonderful stay, exceeding our expectations. We spent my birthday at the beautiful estate, given a little extra treat by the management. The whole team was very attentive, welcoming, and at any time willing to help and advise. The estate is spacious, so it's very quiet and most of the time feels like you are the only guest.

The hotel was absolutely incredible - Pepe and Penelope were incredible hosts and helped organise everything for our trip. The breakfast and paella dinner were incredible, and the service and response time to our (many) requests was exceptional. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Menorca - it's in a great location (only 10 min from airport and 20min into Mahon) and the hotel itself is so beautiful, you can spend the whole day there.
