Set against the background of the Hohe Tauern Mountains, Hotel Bergkristall is located at 1,200 metres above sea level in the centre of Mallnitz. The staff is friendly, the breakfast very complete. Spa zone very nicr and clean, especially the scentrd sauna.

Set in Mallnitz, 30 km from Roman Museum Teurnia, Hotel Pension Oswald offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. Very nice and helpful hotel owner. Tasty food, large portions. Meals served very quickly. Clean rooms, (cleaned every day). Good location - you can get to the ski resort in Bad Gastein by train (which also transports cars) in 20 minutes. We recommend it, we will gladly come back.

In a quiet location a 10-minute walk from the centre of Flattach, Hotel Gletschermühle offers a restaurant, a sauna, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms have a south-facing balcony overlooking the mountains. Spacious room, nice staff, delicious food, good access.

Sporthotel Mölltal is located in the centre of Flattach and offers a spa area with sauna, infrared cabin, fitness room, steam bath and a small indoor pool. The staff was very helpful and nice, we were even got cards that allows you many attractions for free, some cable cars and so on. That was a nice surprise:) The breakfast was excellent with lot of choices. The hotel has free sauna which was also great:) And very important - pet friendly!

Located in the Ankogel ski area, Mallnitz’ Haus Rohskopf has a sauna, a garden, terrace, a small children's playground, a playroom, barbecue facilities, a bar and a ski storage room. The guesthouse is very charming and right in the middle of town, surrounded by restaurants and within walking distance of whatever you may need. If you’re a skier, there is a cool outdoor apres-ski bar across the street and there is a ski bus stop (goes to two great resorts) about a minute away. The host is incredibly hospitable and goes out of her way to make your stay more comfortable. Every morning, there was a very nice breakfast to look forward to. The room was tidied every day—and she even brought me Christmas cookies! If you want a cold beer in the evening, you can buy one there for a good price. It’s also not a problem to store ski and snowboard equipment there.

Surrounded by the Hohe Tauern National Park, Eggerhof provides rooms with free Wi-Fi in the centre of Mallnitz. All guests can make use of the wellness area with a sauna and a steam bath. There is great sauna in the hotel.

Hotel Hubertus is situated at the entrance of Hohe Tauern National Park in Mallnitz. It is located 500 metres from the centre and offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms. We travelled with a rather large group of friends, so we were assigned a separate dining room for all our meals, which was great because it meant we could enjoy ourselves without bothering the other guests too much. The hosts were very helpful. The food was good, based on traditional meals, but there were also vegetarian options and special menus for the children. The apartments were very spacious, as well as the balcony (which we did not use because it was winter, but I imagine it is wonderful during warmer seasons).
