The area was nestled in luxuriously verdant hills, forests and majestic mountains, as well as refreshing lakes surrounded by traditional old Austrian towns. Furthermore, we enjoyed the deliciously sweet treats, savoury foods, as well as the plentiful fresh succulent fruits on offer in the low key tourist area of Styrian Salzkammergut. Our hosts were friendly welcoming and communicative. On top of that our fully contained apartment was modern clean and quiet. Could not want any more and would return there anytime.

Very nice location for driving to many lakes in Salzkammergut. Also the apartment is located in the center of Bad Ischl, accessible easily to supermarket, restaurants, bakery and ATM etc. Especially for us, it was really convenient that we can use the same "Alles Gurgelt" Covid test system (with Wien's ID) in Oberösterreich, too. BIPA and BILLA is in 5 minutes walk from the apartment. The host was super friendly, we got many tips on around.

Location perfect. Views stunning. Short walk into St. Gilgen. Easy road access to Salzburg and Salzkammergut. Breakfast buffet exceptional. Room very spacious. Hotel throughout very clean. Had a few dinners during stay and quality excellent. Most impressive thing about our stay was the service provided by Mark, who seemed to have a wide range of responsibilities but fulfilled them all with politeness and a smile. Best asset of the hotel.

V comfortable apartment , well located to explore the beautiful Salzkammergut. Well equipped kitchen allowing self catering . Washing machine useful for Family holidays . Apartment well located in quiet residential area but easy 10 min walk to town center and shops and restaurants. Bad Ischl a perfect base to explore the Salzkammergut; the Katrin , Hallstadt and our family highlight hiking around the Gosausee which is stunningly beautiful.

I came across the continent to visit Salzkammergut region, and got magnificent panorama through Seehaus Familie Leifer, apartment truly in perfect location, the room was absolutely clean, spacious, complete kitchenettes for basic cooking, short walk distance to every part of main attractions in St. Wolfgang, and Wi-Fi was good. Definitely recommended for every body who wants to stay in St. Wolfgang. Murwani.

The location of the hotel is very good and the host Monika is very friendly and helpful. In order to avoid waiting, she let me check-in earlier than 14:00. She also gave me many tips about Salzkammergut. The apartment that I stayed (Katarina) is cosy and beautiful. The furniture is especially impressive to me. They created a good atmosphere so that I feel as if the time were turned back. Everything was great!

We had an excellent stay with HomeBound Bad Goisern. The apartment is beautifully designed and well equipped, leaving very little to be desired. The location is very central to explore the Salzkammergut region. And the facilities were great, I really enjoyed the living room with the board games and great coffee. Check-in and check-out were seamless. Overall, fantastic experience.

Wonderful hotel. The owner was sweet. The free breakfast was delicious and had more variety than most other European hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a more quiet area of Hallstatt but still a short walk from the action. I was pleased with the stay, and this was definitely the best hotel I stayed at on my trip around lower Austria and Salzkammergut

The hotel is located in an old, perfectly renovated, monastery, right in the center of town, Everything was within walking distance. The room was very spacious and nicely furnished. Breakfast was outstanding and by far the best you can find in the area. Additionally, Mondsee is strategically located, if one wants to visit Salzburg or other venues in the Salzkammergut

Great location to take daytrips in Salzkammergut by car. The apartment is comfy and clean, it is simple yet it has a welcoming ambient. We loved that it is closer to nature, instead of being right in the center. We'd return without any hesitation. We received a great guide via email before arrival so we could easily find the building and check in ourselves.

The apartments are excelent. Kitchen is well equiped. All was clean, but the lightning, having laps for reading, central light and LED lights below and above the beds was fantastic and very cosy. Bathroom with LED lights and build in radio was very enjoyable. We decided immediately to spent there our next holiday in Austrias Salzkammergut.

A lovely property with a private terrace overlooking the mountains. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and there was a power shower. In light of the amenities, to include a dishwasher and a washing machine, this was an ideal base for a self-catering holiday in Salzkammergut Region of Austria. The WiFi also worked well.

Huge, clean, well equipped apartment, walking distance from the lake and Strobl center. Quiet neigbourhood, with charming and friendly landlord. It is a good start to discover Salzkammergut, especially the Wolfgangsee region. Don't miss the ferry trip on the lake and Bad Ischl. Thank you for the free coffee capsules!

Pension Christina in Unterach am Attersee is a great location to stay at the lake area of Upper Austria in the center of the Salzkammergut region. The accommodation is fully equipped with all necessities for a cozy stay. The owners family is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Everything was absolutely perfect; welcoming discrete warm hosts, perfect location, clean functional charming apartment, stunning lake view…we’ve been spending holidays in Salzkammergut region for years now but this was definitely the best place to stay. Ever. We really wish (and plan) to come back.

The apartment was super clean. The view from the balcony was superlative overlooking mountains and a cute cottage timber cottage. The host was very friendly. It was easy to access lakes in the Salzkammergut. We especially liked little Odensee and Grundlsee.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, one hour max to each attraction on Salzkammergut. The view at the lake and the facilities were incredible. HIAS restaurant is wonderful as well as the main Restaurant. The staff were great and handy.

It's a spacious apartment with a well-equipped kitchen, living room, and bedroom. We spent 2 nights there and liked it very much. It has a great location if you would like to do day trips in Salzkammergut region.

Friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, clean room, great location for exploring the stunning Salzkammergut region. The hotel has a beautiful private lakefront and we swam every day!
