Simply wow! One of the best places to stay on our trip to Australia. Our cottage was lovingly decorated, it was very clean, had enough space and perfect facilities. The beds are a dream, we slept very well. Plus the wonderful air from the Grampians, birds and numerous kangaroos right at and around the cottage. We felt very comfortable with Matt and Danny. The surroundings with various walks are impressive. If you are travelling to the Grampians and looking for accommodation in Halls Gap, you should not miss Wonderland Cottages!

We had brought our own breakfast, so cannot comment on what may have been provided. Overall, our stay was excellent. The facilities and staff at The Grampians Motel were by far the best of the five motels that we stayed in during this road trip from Melbourne into Sth Australia and back home again. The location is on the edge of Halls Gap town, but the views of the mountains and the small mobs of animals (kangaroos, wallabies, emus) across a very large park like front gardens were beautiful. Such a beautiful location. set in the true Australian countryside of open plains with stunning views of the Grampians. The accommodation is fully self contained log cabins with everything supplied to make a great stay.. Waking up every morning to so many kangaroos only meters away from the front door of the cabin in their natural environment - absolutely awesome. The owners were so nice and really wanting you to have a wonderful stay.

Cockatoo Cabin is a rustic timber home which is a great as a base for exploring the Grampians region. It's a small partly renovated cabin with a modern bathroom. The cockatoos arrived on the verandah within 2 minutes of parking our car there! And they're very friendly. Plus we found a kangaroo in the front garden when returning one evening. This is the best area in Victoria for seeing Australian wildlife roaming free.

Grampians View Cottages is a wonderful place. Our one BR apartment was spacious with a veranda. We loved that there were kangaroo visits to our place in the evening if you were looking. There is good Netflix streaming which is not typically the case although there is no cell service so you rely on the WiFi. Great family grounds and access to all Grampian attractions. A beautiful place to stay. Very spacious with a lovely yard, stunning views and an occasional kangaroo or kookaburra stopping by. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The Main Street and gas station were less than 5 minutes’ drive down the road - super accessible. We had the loveliest time here and it broke our hearts to leave. Highly recommended for any family or group of friends planning to visit the Grampians!

Neat, very clean room, perhaps the cleanest I have ever seen in Australia. The motel is off the A8 (interstate Melbourne-Adelaide) so it is very well placed, I used it as a gateway to the Grampians, the turnoff towards Halls Gap is about 100 m from the property and it is easy access to Roses Gap and the northern (Mt Zero) area. I guess this would be an ideal place to rest for interstate travelers as well.

The place was amazing. One of the best regional accommodations I have been to in Australia. I will definitely stay there again when in the Grampians. Nothing to complain. Super cozy, comfy bed, clean, welcoming and helpful hosts, great atmosphere and nature around. Wifi, AC and other facility in great working condition.

Lovely place to stay for a trip to the Grampians, just outside of Halls Gap town, walkable, 1min drive with car. Welcoming staff. Clean well kept hostel that was a pleasure to stay in. Gorgeous lounge rooms. Great value. Would reccommend and stay again.

The owner Karen was magnificent, she was very welcoming and informative and even offered to drive us into Dunkeld so we could have dinner at the Royal Mail Hotel. The accommodation is on a lovely farm with spectacular views of Mt Sturgeon in the Grampians.

Location, Host and rooms are great. There is from time to time live music outdoors + a bar. You can see a lot of eastern grey roos on the lawn next to the accommodation! The Grampians are just beautiful.

A great location with very friendly hosts. The hotel is located well if you are traveling to the Grampians or if you need somewhere quiet to unwind. We'll definitely visit this motel again.

Linen was lovely and clean. Caravan Park itself was quiet. Walking track was great, plenty of local wildlife and short walk to local hotel with great food and excellent views of the grampians.

property was close to local shops and restaurants with scenic views of nearby Grampians. staff were very friendly, hotel room was very clean and rooms very large and spacious .

Easy assess to the hiking trails that lead to Pinnacle and other lookouts in Grampians National Park. Having our car parked right in front of our room is an added advantage.

A good stopover before heading to the Grampians. Peaceful town with a beautiful lake. Friendly hosts. Spacious apartment.

Amazing location out of town. Really felt like you were in the bush. Absolutely delightful! We saw lots of wildlife, wallaby's and deer. By far the loveliest place we stayed during our month stay in Australia. Instruction manual very detailed and helpful. Great black out blinds, coasters, blankets, magazines. Very homely. We used the bbq both evenings as it seemed pointless going out with such great comfort and surroundings. Halls Gap Grocer a short drive away. Not a huge selection but enough to get by on.

Amazing location, friendly staff, a lot of animals around. Kangaroos and parrots were our guests every evening. Also not far from the house were Emus and deers. We rented a one-bedroom cabin and it was comfortable. This place exceeded my expectations, highly recommend it.

Location was incredible! Short walk from everything in Halls Gap. The kangaroos & wildlife we saw during our stay was amazing, beautiful spot. Our cabin was spotless too :)
