103 Degrees Hotel & Spa is a 4-star property located in Sapareva Banya. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as a hammam. We nearly stayed at the much more expensive Five Elements hotel before we realised that the outdoor pools pictured for that hotel actually belong to Aquaclub Kotvata, which is public and just across the road from 103 Degrees hotel. So we chose 103 Degrees and got to enjoy their lovely indoor pools and spa, and we also spent a day at Kotvata enjoying their outdoor pools - perfect. We especially loved the outdoor jacuzzi at 103 Degrees - it was so nice sitting in there on a winter's night! The quality and choice of food in the restaurant was great.

Breakfast was varied and delicious. It's hard to take your eyes off the mountain view that opens from the restaurant. It was beautiful. It is certainly a suitable place for a romantic dinner with your partner. The staff are polite and kind.

It's a family run business and they were very polite, the young staff member spoke perfect English, food for dinner and breakfast was homemade and delicious, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, shower had a curtain which was helpful in the Bulgarian style showers,it was all clean and the location is superb,2 minutes car ride from rila monastery and the landscape and surrounds are calm, green and beautiful

Kyustendil is very green in June, limes are blooming in the city center. You can visit Pautalia terms, city gallery with Vladimir Dimitrov, the Master paitings or just to have a coffee on the streets. You can also try fresh cherries, which is once of the things the city is famous for.

Very nice town,with many pedestrianised areas. Kyustendil is the centre of cherry orchard of Bulgaria and had a festival weekend whilst we were there with stalls decorated in cherries and local citizens in national costume.No local car hire ,so if needed, rentals are from Sofia Airport.Plenty of reasonably priced taxis in town.Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose .

People try to do their best to have more visitors in their town. They have a good park, some historical places to visit, and a lot of cafes to sit in and to have a drink. It is easy to get around Kyustendil, evan if you need a taxi, bercause they are cheap enough. I ate in the hotel restaurant, because the food was perfect there, not only their breakfast. There are some spas, so you could have a bath there in the mineral water.

Tourist information was not open + in restaurants they didn't Enlish( or hardly ) !!! " Friends" is a very good restaurant with also menu in English . Bustrip to and from Kyustendil to Sophia is very bad : bus was even broken and we could not drive further !!! Roads are in very bad condition !

Kyustendil is a nice place in the winter for skiing but also in the summer and spring. We had nice mountain climbings and walks around the city. There are many good restaurants with excellent and cheap food to visit! Enjoy Kyustendil!

Brilliant absolutely loved it. Great cafes within short walking distance. Try Flora on Bulgaria Boulavard. There are parks close by and we were lucky enough to see traditional singing and dancing in the square. All the cafes we visited had menus either in English or had good pictures, great home cooked chips! But for a really great meal try the Ramira Hotel. Kyustendil has beautiful mountains, lakes, rivers with lots of lovely walks into pine forests, and in winter offers skiing.

Great nature! Hisarluka is a place to take a break from big city life, enjoy nature and relax. Visiting one of Kyustendil’s spa and welness hotels is definitely worth doing!
