Set in Muchenje, 6.8 km from Ngoma Gate Chobe National Park, Xhabe Safari Lodge Chobe offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. They curried us on their hands - this was amazing (front house manager - really know just what you need ..... ) the chef knows how to make food !!! We definitely will come again. One of our highlights of the holidays - we're staying with Xhabe Safari Lodge.

Elegant and comfortable tent with a beautiful bathroom. The entire staff was extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating. Martin and his team went out of their way to make our stay a most enjoyable one.

Thebe River Safaris was excellent value, Very comfortable rooms with unlimited hot water 24-7 which is always a treat in Botswana. Food in Resteraunt/Bar was plentiful and the choice was very good, but what made the stay for us was the Staff especially Asa, Matt, O.T., Khumby and T.K. in fact everyone made our stay in Kasane absolutely Magic Will definetly stay there again, can highly recommend

The Chobe River cottages were close to Chobe National Park and river cruises- We felt safe in the area and had a great experience seeing all of the animals! The Chobe river cottages referred us to an excellent company for our river cruise- we would do it again!

Kasane is very good located as a basis for stay over on way to Zim Falls, Namibia, Zambia, as it is at the border. The Chobe river cruises offered, and the Park, is exceptionally awesome to visit with all the game present. The Buffet and setting of Chobe Lodge is wonderful, and the steak at the Old house really good. People are friendly, and it is easy to get around.

A small town right near the Chobe River with wildlife roaming free everywhere, it has most things available there, banks etc, eating is mainly done in the hotels and lodges. thoroughly recommend the area for game viewing etc.

Kasane is the best starting point for two big objectives which one should visit: Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park Complementary one may enjoy different activities like boat ride, fishing, crocodile farm, etc

Excellent base for game / river drives into Chobe. The staff were happy to help with the arrangements and made the break even more relaxing. The room facilities are very good and the standards are high.

Good location on the Chobe River, with plenty of activities. We found the locals very friendly and enjoyed chatting to them at the Center Bar. Very good pizza at the Hunter's Bar and Grill where we ate two nights. We walked through Kasane to the pharmacy where there is a very good pharmacist with impeccable English. He knew the local equivalent to the anti-histamine tablets we wanted. Kasane is a great base for trips on the Chobe River and game drives in the Chobe National Park. We also had a day trip to Victoria Falls which was magical.

Good central location allowing you to do more than just bush...
Good central location allowing you to do more than just bush safaris. Victoria Falls are less than an hours drive from Kasane and you can do boat safaris on the Chobe river, which is a fatastic experience. There are a number of good places where you can go out to eat, like the Old House, Indian restaurant and Chobe Safari Lodge. Prices are very reasonable as well. Also you feel welcome and safe walking around as a tourist.

Kasane is a little town with an airport 2km from the center. It has few restaurants, supermarket, off licence and some clothes shops as well as companies offering game drives and various trips. There are several lodges in or near the town which is convenient as it’s located very close to Chobe National Park. It’s also easy to make day trips to Namibia, Zambia or Zimbabwe from there.

The activities desk was extremely helpful and organized a private birding boat trip for us with a birding guide as well as a full day drive to Chobe National Park with lunch. The sunset cruise departing directly from the hotel is also recommended. Our family room was spacious, modern and clean.
