Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel can be found right in the heart of the car-free village of Stoos ob Schwyz at 1300 metres above sea level, next to ski slopes and hiking paths. Beautiful property run very professionally and personally. Restaurant had some of the best food we had throughout Switzerland. Room was really well appointed and very comfortable with incredible views of the village and mountains.

Family-run for 4 generations, Kräuterhotel Edelweiss is located at 1,550 metres above sea level on the car-free Rigi Mountain, next to Rigi Staffelhöhe Train Station. This is a very cute hotel on Rigi specializing in local food and specialities from the area. The restaurant is beautiful and the food is nice, we ate there for lunch and stayed one night. There are a lot of nice little touches in the hotel/ rooms. Many positives but My feeling are a bit mixed about the place.

Located within a private park on the shore of Lake Lucerne, Seehotel Waldstätterhof Swiss Quality is set in a building from 1870. It features its own access to the lake, free WiFi, and a spa area. We had a room with a nice size balcony with a gorgeous view facing Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Our room was very comfortable...well appointed, including complimentary drinks & chocolate in the bar fridge. Hotel was very close to Lake Lucerne. Staff was courteous & friendly and we had enjoyable conversations with several. Very walkable to local restaurants, town, ferry pier, etc. Really no complaints. Would definitely come back.
