Situated in Tarcoles, 400 metres from Tarcoles Beach, Akua Suites Ocean View features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Everything went well, Laura the manager was extremely helpful and supportive. The location and view of the place are just breathtaking. The private pool and the view from there is not tappable. There are not many places like this.

Offering a outdoor pool and sun terrace, Cerro Lodge is located in Tárcoles in the Puntarenas Region. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant and free private parking is available on site. We loved the layout of the lodges/rooms in the well kept grounds. Rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. The restaurant/relaxation area and balcony provide fantastic views, with Scarlet Macaws and other birds flying all around. Cerro Lodge has a really relaxed feel and has friendly staff. We had a pizza for lunch and Costa Rican dish for dinner. Both were great, but the pizzas are the best outside of Italy and New York! There's a small but nice pool if you fancy a swim, and a unique space where you can sit and chat amongst the trees. The entrance to Carara National Park is a 15min drive away which we really enjoyed, thanks to our great guide, Roland. We didn't opt for a boat trip up River Tarcoles, but that's also easy to get to if you want it. We left something behind when we set off on the rest of our tour to the south, but the staff very helpfully found it and kindly kept it safe for 10 days when we collected it on our way back up to the north - thank you!!! Cerro Lodge is a very nice place to stay. Whether its a destination or a stop off point on a bigger tour, I strongly recommend that you don't miss out Cerro Lodge, it's great!

Exceeded expectations! The stand alone suite/cabins are brand new, beautifully designed, very spacious. Grounds are nice, amazing views to the ocean, lots of birds, a lookout tower, pool, restaurant for an excellent optional breakfast. Really reasonable prices. For dinner the Cerro Lodge is very close. Birds right outside my door.

Rancho Capulin B&B features accommodation closer to Tárcoles. The property has an outdoor swimming pool, as well as a garden. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. Fantastic location. Quiet. Wonderful garden with a lot of nature. Big Iguanas, Aras, Toucan. Possible to walk down to crocodile river. Nice breakfast with home made bread and marmelade and perfect view. Perfect stay. We loved it!

Located in Tarcoles and only 300 metres from Tarcoles Beach, House of the Macaws provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Agustino was very king and helpfull, the place is very well maintain, awesome Access to the beach through a little park where you can see many couple of arras very well. Better than in cararra national Park actually.
