This is a typical and traditional Bavarian Hotel, we had a very comfortable en-suite room with a table and chairs as well as a balcony. There is also a very nice restaurant downstairs in the Hotel for breakfast, serving excellent Italian food in the evening. The thing that makes this Hotel special is Katja, who is just wonderful. We had severe travel problems due to Easyjet cancelling our flight from UK. Katja helped us so much, and rescued our holiday, she looks after all the guests so well, making sure they have everything that they need.

Excellent place to stay in Munich. They were so kind and upgrade the room without asking this. The room was spacious, clean with all the necessary facilities. As a note, there is no fridge into the room, but you have the option of hotel breakfast. The staff was nice, always ready to help. The location is also good... 20-25 min walk to Central Station, same time to get to Old Town. There are lots of places to eat near the hotel (a Bavarian restaurant at 300 m), and some shops not far away. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was very cozy, the design was in a typical bavarian "hunter theme". The staff was very polite and friendly, room was warm and clean. The organisation of the breakfast went very well (because of Covid 19 there wasn't an open buffet but you could order standard german breakfast food to the table). If you're travelling without car it's a perfect location. 15 min walk till the main railway station, 10 min to the centre (supermarkets, shops, cafes), 15 min walk to the Nebelhornbahn (ski lift).

Accommodations were fantastic. Breakfast had a very broad selection including gluten free bread options. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel is located in the middle of town and has its own parking garage with dedicated parking spaces for guests. Would stay here again when visiting Fussen. Hotel is on the edge of the pedestrian zone of Fussen and walking distance to all of the shopping, restaurants and sights in this lovely Bavarian town. Great place to stay and see the sights of the German and Austrian Alps.

Traditional Bavarian style in a great location.They were not too busy, so they upgraded (at no extra charge) to a room with a nice balcony and a perfect view of the valley and the snow covered mountains. There are a few restaurants nearby (don't go to the Greek restaurant across the street from the hotel. It is horrible). Hotel breakfast was formidable with a host who showed passion and pride in what he was doing. A great place to stay, and a great place to start a new day on our journey across the Alps.

This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel when we are visiting Bavaria. Hotel owners are always at your service and make you feel like you are at home. This is the closest hotel to the Rupertus Therme – 2 minutes' walk. The great view of the snow-capped Alps from the balcony of our room. No parking problem - guests have their own parking. The room has a small kitchen and a refrigerator. The breakfasts at the hotel are good, varied and delicious. Highly recommended.

This hotel had a lot going for it. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff were nice, it had a great restaurant with traditional Bavarian dishes and across the street was a place with delicious poke bowls. Parking was pretty easy in an underground city garage just a couple blocks away and only cost 5 euros a day. I stayed in a single room with a bath down the hall which made it a terrific value. You could even walk to the start of the great Partnachsklamm hike from here.

Very good small hotel, very queiet, in the old town area, near to all the attractions of the town center. No problem with parking. Exceptional hospitality. We have just mentioned about gluten-free diet of my wife and the next day at breakfast we have found gluten-free bread especially for her. The hotel is very well organized and very clean. Nice room with Bavarian-style furniture. This was our best accomodation choice during our travel through Germany to Switzerland.

Very cute, Bavarian-style hotel right in the middle of Schwangau. Walk (or very short drive) to castles and sights (Neuschwanstein; Hohenschwangau, Wittlesbach Museum) and Alps. Despite its traditional Alpine decor, it had the modern conveniences. Hotel staff was very friendly. Able to walk to some restaurants. I recommend easy hikes/walks around the Forggensee lake in Schwangau and around the Alpsee lake next to Hohenschwangau, both with well marked trails.

Excellent breakfast. Usually smaller hotel (from my experience) have limited breakfast choices, but in case of Hotel Bavaria the assortment was just perfect and we were not bored at all. Location is very good. Perfect disctance from center (a walk of a few minutes) but at the same time far enough to enjoy quiet time. I liked the room a lot both in terms of layout, comfort and esthetics Staff was very friendly and always helpful.

Probably the best apartment in Bavaria that we have ever stayed in! Very large with lots of windows and a good-sized balcony overlooking a magnificent view of the Zugspitze. Extremely clean and outfitted with everything you could need. Fantastic location very close to downtown, restaurants, and the Zugspitzbahn. There is a Lidl and another grocery store close by as well. Host was great and very helpful. Highly recommend!!

Most modestly price accommodations lack personality, but the Smile Hotel lives up to its name. The innkeeper and her husband have established a quirky, fun and absolutely unique vibe. My room was the most spacious I enjoyed in Bavaria and immaculately cleaned. Free parking made exploring the old town on foot (the entrance is directly across the street) hassle-free. The child in anyone will be delighted with a stay.

My third stay in this hostel over the January period as I came and went from various locations in Bavaria. This time the water pressure in my room was amazing! This hostel has such a welcoming and social vibe. The kitchen is SO well equipped and the winter garden communal area is wonderful. it was -8 degrees celcius outside and yet we could be in the glass-roofed area feeling warm and comfortable.

The location very close to Neuschwanstein Castle to arrive early. Beautiful village very typical in Bavaria. The Hotel is superb, very confortable and with a superb breakfast included. we arrived late in the night, after checkin hours, but still we were able to checkin and get our room. The guy ate the reception as really tired, but he did everything to help us.

Only about 5-10 min walk from train station and local buses. The hotel gives a guest card for free bus rides in town. The room was very large. Nice drying rack in bathroom. The breakfast was Exceptionally good. Best coffee we have had in Europe. Super quiet and lovely. Comfortable beds. Easily walkable to great Bavarian restaurants too. Loved this hotel.

Breakfast was excellant with godd bread and all options from eggs to muesli. The washing machine and dryer in the basement of the hotel available for the guest for a small price were very convinient to me. A view on the Bavaria statue from the window and the quiteness of the room made it perfect.

Great traditional hotel in historic location right on the main street of Partenkirchen. Loads of traditional bavarian bars and restaurants nearby but also very quiet after 10pm. Great, very busy restaurant in hotel and fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended for a few days in the mountains.

The staff was amazingly friendly, breakfast was good and despite it being a part of a butchery, had plenty of vegetarian options (vegan not so much but Bavaria is generally difficult in that respect…), the spa was more than I expected for a Hotel of this range.

The hotel is an old-school Bavarian Guest house. It has that special feeling about it and many interesting details. The family-size room was surprisingly spacious and very cozy. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had.

The hotel is in the heart of town and has an authentic Bavarian feel. The breakfast is traditional and it was a good bargain. You can begin a variety of great walks from the front door and return to have a beer on a window into southern Germany.
