We booked this location because we couldn’t find anything in Garmisch Partenkirchen and were pleasantly surprised. Such a beautiful old hotel in the cutest village. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and accommodating especially the receptionist upon arrival and one particular waiter who really looked after us. Breakfast was really good and we ate our evening meals at in the hotel restaurant which was very good.

I absolutely love it here. I’m an American and my husband is German-/our family found everything we wanted, or needed, and more. It suited our cross-cultural family perfectly. A breakfast table was reserved for us each morning, which was very helpful. In the evening we could go to a table downstairs and play games. Cookies were available in the afternoon too—my apologies for my kids who likely snuck away more than their share. The breakfast is amazing and generous. The spa downstairs is lovely. Free juices and mineral water are available 24 hours a day. Our room was spruced up each day, making us feel refreshed after a long day of skiing—we’ve been to two other nice hotels with similar amenities and they only came to the room once or twice per week. Everyone is super friendly too. They are almost finished building an indoor pool, which will put this hotel over the top. I love it so much!

The hotel is wonderfully decorated with a cozy ambience, particularly suited to our Christmas break. It is exceptionally clean. The staff were always professional,helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. We had booked half board and were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cuisine. We loved the convenience of the location. A ten minute walk to the town centre filled with lovely shops and restaurants. A five minute walk to the train station where we took the Cogwheel Train to the Zugspitze summit. The beds were incredibly comfortable too.

Quiet location, but close to all the activities. Easy drive to Garmisch, Neuschwanstein, and Oberammergau. Very friendly staff! On our first night, we were welcomed with complimentary slices of homemade cake delivered to our room. Absolutely lovely hotel, very welcoming people, the place itself is homey, quiet and comfy. The view from the balcony is amazing and it's tough to go to bed and stop gazing at all the stars. Breakfast is plenty. Enjoyed very much. Pillows are a bit too soft, but it's not an issue.
