The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional; and the hotel has very modern amenities. Unbelievably clean, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of both European foods and standard American fare such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Secure parking under the hotel helped put my mind at ease. You would have to search for a reason to not be satisfied.

This renovated 4-star-Superior hotel in Trier offers a spacious sauna area with pool, different room categories and a high-class restaurant. Trier's historic city centre is just 1 km away. A lot of breakfast choices, all very good, all fresh. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Rooms were among the cleanest I have ever seen in any hotel in the world. This hotel was outstanding in every way.

The Relais is in a charming village in the countryside. The rooms have been completely modernized very recently and are quite beautiful. Best of all were the owners, who provided exceptional hospitality and really went the extra mile to accommodate us. We needed to have a rental car back to Paris by 11 AM, so, even though breakfast is not normally served until 7:00, the owner got up extra early and laid out a terrific breakfast for us so we could get on our way before 7:00. I wish we had spent more time here than just one hurried evening. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

One of the bigger towns on the German Mosel, very...
One of the bigger towns on the German Mosel, very picturesque. Amazing, completely in tact castle high over the town best viewed from the river. Very busy in July, but there are lots of restaurants to choose from and endless winery tours. We took a hop on hop off boat trip and spent a couple of hours in the small but beautifully formed Beilstein a lazy hour to the west.
