Located in the coastal town of Allinge, this northern Bornholm island property is 5 minutes’ drive from Sandvig Beach. Guests have access to a TV lounge, seating area and free Wi-Fi. The location was totally unbeatable, very central in Allinge and in close proximity to restaurants and the local smoke house. The breakfast was rather good than excellent and the same applies to the hotel restaurant, but still no complaints about the food whatsoever. The room was beyond our expectations, spacey and cozy at the same time, with a nice alcove for a snoring person :) I was surprise that the heating worked despite summer and it was easy to dry the beach towels etc. WiFi was actually working.

Ronne is a very convenient base for exploring Bornholm - especially by bus. There may be other more attractive towns, but none with the same facilities.

We were able to hire bikes and see more of the island, Nexos has little to show for itself and is certainly not as pretty as the rest of Bornholm. That said there is public transport, supermarkets and a few places to eat.

Sandvig and its national park is a beautiful place in Bornholm that is well worth a visit if you value beautiful surroundings. Nice tracks in different challenged levels, pretty sea views shared with wild sheep. The death slide is awesome and a swim in the Oval lake is a must! The only disadvantage with Sandvig was that we couldn't find any place serving espresso and a bread bun before 10am.

We go to the island of Bornholm for the Allinge Jazz...
We go to the island of Bornholm for the Allinge Jazz Festival in July - but the whole island is beautiful and each little town has it's own character. Hire a bike or car (our hotel in Ronne - the Ronne H hired Ebikes) and tour round the island really easily. The flight from Copenhagen is lovely on tiny prop planes!

Nice quiet village. Not far from anything. Well, nothing is on Bornholm. For eating try Brøddan Restaurant in Gudhjem. The food is just fantastic. Take your time on Bornholm, the island has a lot of hidden sectrets. My to do list is longer now than when I came.

Allinge, and actually the rest of Bornholm also, is at great island. It is beautifully here in the summer and the people are nice and inviting. There are lots of places to discover and it is both great for young and also older people.

Allinge-Sandvig is all the best of Bornholm. You get the Beach, rough Nature and the town feeling, with nice restaurants, cafées and shops too.....and all in short distances.

A typical ferry harbour atmosphere. Not very nice and warm compared to the other towns on Bornholm. I wouldn't stay in Rønne again, but choose somewhere else with better selections of restaurants and bars in the evening. However, it's only a 15min walk from the ferry.

From £193 per nightWe had a lovely stay in Pyttegården! It is a very beautiful place, located in the country side a couple of kilometres from beautiful Gudhjem, but with a very nice view of the sea! The apartment we rented (3 bedrooms) was very nice with good beds, and a well equipped and renovated kitchen and bathroom. The TV was a decent size and had channels from various countries, including Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Poland. We will definitely try to book a room at Pyttegården again next time we visit Bornholm!

From the ferry port's bus stop it is possible to take public buses to all corners of Bornholm. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day. The rooms are furnished in a simple and typically Danish way. All in all I can only recommend this place.

We liked very much the spacy cabin with big sofas. A family of wild rabbits is frequetly seen in the site. Two pools, one of which is warm and roofed. Refrigerator with freezer.
