Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool, Hotel Rural El Molino de Felipe is set in a bright villa. Offering views of the Sierra de Espuña Hills, it is less than 1 km from La Cierva Reservoir. My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and loved it! We liked the quiet rural setting. Paque, the manager, is a hard-worker and very helpful. She did not speak English so I got to practice my Spanish. We really liked the communal building where we could have dinner after buying food at the Mercando. The breakfast is good and is served in a pretty dining room. Our bedroom was spacious and included a refrigerator.
Hotel in Calabardina
This attractive hotel lies on the hillside, at the foot of the impressive Cabo Cope, on the Costa Cálida. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. This is an amazing place - calling it just a hotel doesn't do it justice! Joaquin has clearly put all his heart and soul into this. We only stayed overnight, but he was realy accommodating with the late check-in and made sure we were greeted with a nice breakfast (quite) early in the morning. This is also by far one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. Great parking area right in front of the house as well. If you are looking for a place in the area, look no further - Joaquin will make sure you have a perfect stay. This was our last stop on the way back home after two weeks of travels through Spain, south of France, and Andorra. Having stayed in 8 different hotels throughout the journey, this one was definitely the highlight / one of the best ones - made us not want to go home:) (The only reason it's not 5 stars on Google is because of a review that was clearly written in error)
Hotel in El Berro
Bajo El Cejo enjoys a privileged position in the middle of the Sierra Espuña natural park. This hotel has free Wi-Fi and stunning views. Natural materials dominate in the rooms in Bajo El Cejo. Location was lovely. Breakfast was perfect. The hosts are absolutely amazing! Dinner was the bonus for us. After the fist night we stayed we never considered going anywhere else. It was a five course dinner and the chef is an absolute genius. Mostly organic foods, no meat (only fish) - we're big meat eaters but I have to say hand on heart we never missed meat with ANY meal! Of the 15 courses we had over 3 nights every single one was exceptional.

Miles and miles of white sandy beaches. Plenty of bars and restaurants Very close to Murcia airport. Good local transport.Lots of good walks. Also found staff at the big tourist information centre extremely helpful.
Loved Murcia very much . Will definitely return to the same hotel and the town was beautiful. Will return in May or September. The pool wasn’t heated at the hotel but I would have loved to swim and the weather was ho5 enough to sunbathe.
Murcia is a really old traditional Spanish city.It is small enough to walk around and view the magnificent Cathedral, wonderful churches and museums easily. Restaurants have very reasonably priced good traditional Spanish food.A lovely place with lovely people.
I really enjoyed the architecture of the buildings and how central it is. The city center has shops on ever street and it doesn't get crowded on weekends. They have many bus lines that are very convenient and easy to locate around the city. Murcia has a good selection of cafes and restaurants, with some of them even open on Sundays. Murcia also has lots of small pastelerias that display delicious pastries in their windows.
Lovely beach promenade, a large lively town with a good mix of Spanish and international restaurants and shops. The town is very well located to explore the region of Murcia as there’s good road links to Cartagena, Murcia, Lorca, Mazarrón etc
I used to live in Murcia and every visit back is like coming home. There's something for everyone, get yourselves over there for the fiestas and do NOT miss the spring festival!
On our short trip we were able to enjoy the Spring Festival and the bustling city. The city bus tour was interesting, and good value at €12 for a hop on/off full day ticket (1st stop by the river, st the Ayuntamuento). We enjoyed a range of snacks in Delices de Paris beside the cathedral and there are lovely spots for dinner opposite the church of John the Baptist. Previously, we have enjoyed the dining experience at La Pequeña Taberna. This time we ate in the smaller La Parranda Pequeña. Very busy because of the festival, there was a small issue of food arriving a little cold. Without any fuss, we were given a discount of around 20% and will definitely eat here again. For short city breaks with culture, history and a range of delicious foods, you won’t go wrong in Murcia.
It is a nice region to explore. The city Murcia can be seen in 1 day and a half. But it is possible to do 1 day trip to Cartagena, which is beautiful! Also, it is possible to rent a car and explore the beaches close to Cartagena, which we didn’t have time to do. People are not that nice as in other parts of Spain, they don’t have too much patience with tourists!
Murcia is such a great city full of great tapas bars and a lively bar scene in the evenings. Easy travel options as only 1 hour by coach away from Alicante airport and you can also visit many other towns located outside of it. (Balneario de Archena- beautiful outdoor spa) 1 hour by bus from Murcia.
Beaches, bars and restaurants are very good.Public transport however is very poor.I would definitely go for longer if it was possible to get a bus direct to Cartegna and Murcia .
Murcia
The property managers were very responsive to our requests. The apartment is cosy, nicely furnished and supplies appliances, extra blankets, sheets, pillows so that one does not feel lack. It is located some 20 min walk from the city centre in a very pleasant neighbourhood, close to the river. It has its own parking spot inside the building which makes it very convenient for travelling with a car. The city of Murcia is very nice. People are welcoming and smiling.
Good hotel, an excellent choice for out trip to Murcia. We rented a car and Ibis was very easy to reach coming from Alicante airport. The parking is a big plus and is very cheap. Room ok, clean. Breakfast ok, no warm food but a big selection to choose, also some fruits. The location is about 3 km from Murcia cathedral, is a 40 minutes walk, we enjoy it. You find some pizzeria in the neighborhood. Also 2 big supermarkets, an Aldi and a Mercator near.
Very good place to stay. Great customer service and very good food at the restaurant across the road (Restaurant Pacoche). Special thank you to Sergio and Pedro. A must go if in Murcia looking for a restaurant. Breakfast at the hotel was also very good. Good variety and great customer care by the breakfast staff room. Very clean room and very clean hotel overall. Very easy access to the centre of Murcia and transport. Highly recommended.
The experience at AC Hotel Murcia by Marriott was excellent, they location and hospitality is fantastic my room window view was very nice because it gives sunlight reflection directly inside the room. Visitors is always more interested to know how the bed is in this case they're very comfortable. The room was very clean and they bathroom, with room lights is perfect and they customer's service care is unique keep it up guys.
After travelling most of southern Spain we were very disappointed with the town itself . It was dirty , no restaurants , no bars and if you wanted food you went across the street to the gas station. The hotel itself was ok ,but we don’t recommend Murcia to anyone , it was worse than a Mexican slum compared to the rest of southern Spain . Drive 30 more kms to Alicante and really enjoy what Spain has to offer .
Very pleasant, reasonably priced new-build hotel with expansive view south over the river, a few minutes' walk from the main historic buildings of central Murcia.. Quiet room, very comfortable big bed and other attractive furniture, nice bathroom with excellent shower. Extensive breakfast buffet (€13 p.p.). Secure underground parking (€20 p.d.) with EV chargepoints.
The location is excellent: many cafes, restaurants, and even a large department store. Also, there are several museums highlighting the amazing culture and history of Murcia. (To our surprise they were free.) A lovely park with beautiful flowers and a cafe is a hop away. The city's food is delicious. The people from Murcia are incredibly friendly.
Location was good, near the tramvia and relatively well connected to the centre of Murcia and the University. Better if you have a car, though. No need for paid parking, there is plenty of free parking around the hotel. The gym was really good (the hotel has an agreement with a huge gym next door) but it requires a 6 euro fee for each session.
We had booked a room with a terrace - the terrace was amazing! Very large with great views of the city. It’s very central - a minutes’ walk and you’re in the old town. There’s nearby parking too which is discounted by the Hotel. We’d definitely return if we went back to Murcia (which incidentally is a fantastic Spanish place to visit).
We're to start.... We really enjoyed our stay here,as first time in Murcia(la manga) We love the sea,omg.. We really enjoyed the entertainment, the guys are awesome, make things so alive, they are really nice , We want to say to a big thank you to Gabriel in the bar outside, made us feel so good,as he speaks portuguese. Thanks xx
The location of the hotel is super convenient, directly in the center of Murcia. Once you step outside, the cathedral is only 1 minute away. Breakfast is delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they helped us very quickly and accommodated us in a different room due to a problem with our first room.
Murcia
Very nice, clean and nice apartment. We are very happy that we could stay here during our visit to Murcia. The host was very friendly and helpful and we would definitely like to stay here again in the future. The price is also very favorable and it also looks very nice! Thanks for everything
Murcia
Comfortable and very well equipped apartment in the heart of Murcia. The location in Plaza Santa Catalina could not be better, there are many bars and restaurants in the area, and the Mercado de Verónicas is only a few minutes walk away and is well worth a visit. Highly recommended.
This hotel is modern, clean and conveniently located for visiting Murcia. The room was good size and the bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast buffet was better than I had expected, with good quality and lots of choices. The parking was nearby and protected.
Murcia
Very friendly Italian lady at the reception. Towels are included in the price which is always nice. The kitchen was well equipped and there was free coffee / tea. The bed was also comfortable enough. Location is excellent, right in the middle of Murcia.
Apartment is ideally located on La Torre Golf Resort with the bars, resturants and golf within 5 minutes walk. Spar on site only 10 min walk. Car is needed to explore Murcia, Bea ches 20 min, Murcia city 20 min and Cartagena 30 min so ideally situated.
Not too far from the railway station, or the centre of town, this hotel is cheap, cheerful and clean. The rooms are quiet, and the staff are great. This is my go to hotel in Murcia. I've stopped here numerous times, and will stop here again.
Murcia
This is a comfortable apartment in a great area in the city. I highly recommend it and it is a great value. I had never been to Murcia before and there are so many things to do in the city. This is an underrated area of Spain.
This is a perfectly serviceable hotel - it's nothing fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. It's also really close to the stadium, which was the most important thing, as we were in Murcia for a football match.
The apartment is very comfortable plenty of space. The location is perfect, in the very centre of Murcia. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need The owner was very friendly and helpful.
