Located in Ronda’s former Jewish Quarter, this charming hotel enjoys beautiful views of the Mediaeval town and mountains. It has an outdoor pool, set in gardens, and free WiFi. The breakfast was served in a beautiful sitting room connected with a garden. It was simple but delicious (fresh bread, fruits, cheese, tomatoes, jam). Location is amazing! There's a view to the hills from the garden. 10 minute walk through the viewing points and promenades to get to the city centre. Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly.

This felt like true, old-fashioned Spain -- maybe even better than I had imagined. The hacienda setting amid olive groves in the mountains, plus pool, excellent AC, and fabulous shared kitchen were all extraordinary. One evening as we were sitting by the pool, a friendly fox trotted over to say hi. And the owner, Marie, was terrific, esp when we mislaid our keys late in the evening. Oh, and nearby Ronda is not to be missed. We even got to enjoy a local flamenco concert / lesson.

Our connecting rooms were very comfortable for our family of 5, sitting in the shade by the pool was cool even at the height of the heatwave, breakfast was delicious and the honesty bar well stocked for snacks and light meals. it’s a great location to explore the mountains and white towns, especially if you take host Ellie’s brilliant recommendations.

From the moment we arrived, I could feel all the tension from the day just dissipate. We were greeted with a smile and a complementary glass of wine. We had a nice chat with the new manager of the hotel. We were shown to our rooms. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed including a small refrigerator for cold drinks. We enjoyed a lovely lunch at the restaurant. Our waiter Victor was really fun and light. He made us feel welcome and made sure we had all the food we could possibly eat. So yummy. We enjoyed a dip in the pool and a leisurely rest on a sunbed. Everything was idyllic. Thanks for a lovely get away with friends.

The town of Montejaque was exceptionally lovely, at the edge of one of the most beautiful Nature parks we have seen in Andalucia, Sierra de Grazalema. The hotel was located on the small village plaza that was lively in the evening, but not noisy. The walk uphill through the old Nazarid barrio to the Mirador was really great. Clean and comfortable. Lots of books to browse in various languages left behind by other travelers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy and safe to store our bicycles.
