This traditional Alpine hotel is situated amid the unique landscapes of the stunning Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park and the ski centre includes a ski hire shop, ski maintenance room and ski storage... Beautiful location in the middle of nature, reindeer walking past the windows. Our dog got treats as a welcome gift. The breakfast was really good. There was a small bond to go take a (very cold) swim 😍

From a delicious well-served breakfast, personal attention to every single detail, to life-saving skills when our car broke down, and the owner took us to the airport himself. The villa is fully equipped, with high-quality appliances, and kitchen utensils. I loved the personal touch of setting up a Christmas tree. We also appreciated how they took in the fact we had a toddler, and offered suggestions for activities tailored for us. Situated 47 km from Peak Lapland Viewing Deck, 42 km from Mary's chapel, Levi and 45 km from Levi Golf & Country Club, Tunturilapin Tuvat features accommodation set in Muonio. A very cosy and comfortable "mökki" (cottage #71) in an absolute remote area. We were lucky and saw Northern lights by just looking out of the window.
