Situated in Savonlinna, Cafe-Restaurant & Hotel Saima has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. the breakfast was delicious and one had choices. we purchased a take away lunch (croissant sandwiches) and it was very good. the hosts were very attentive and truly delightful! we hope to come back to visit.

Just 100 metres from the bridge to Olavinlinna Castle, this small boutique hotel is next to Lake Saimaa in Savonlinna. It offers individually decorated rooms with scenic views and free wired internet.... The place is amazing, perfectly situated on the lakeshore, with lovely apartments. The host is fantastic, helpful and willing to offer advices on the places to visit.

This 1930s hotel, designed by Finnish architect Wivi Lönn, lies on Lake Saimaa. Olavinlinna Castle is only 400 metres away. It offers free Wi-Fi, a quiet setting and cosy, individually decorated... The best breakfast ever!!! A great variety of salty and sweet options, all very tasty, presented in a spectacular room which brings you back to the beginning of the XX century. Very clean and quiet place, in a very central location (in front of the lake shore, at a few minutes walk from the castle)

Located in Savonlinna, 12 km from Savonlinna Train Station, Norppa Resort provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Clean and equipped apartment with spacious living room, terrace and sauna. Beautiful and peaceful environment in nature. There waa possibility of grilling. Breakfast was sufficient.

This hotel is on Savonlinna’s main square, Kauppatori, right by Lake Saimaa. It provides free WiFi and sauna access, and a rooftop lake-view restaurant open in the summer. Very nice location and we were lucky to get newly refurbished room in 5th floor :) And not to mention lobby, spacious and quiet.

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 500 m from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 1.5 km away. Friendly staff and large rooms with good view.

This hotel is set in a renovated late 19th-century building by the shores of Lake Saimaa. It offers free WiFi, a terrace and rooms with minibars and seating areas. we got a very special room with a loft bed and a small stove with an oven which we used for the evening meal. The breakfast was plentiful with a very good croissant in a nearby restaurant.

Located 500 metres from Savonlinna Train Station, this hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle. All rooms offer a TV and minibar. Breakfast was really good with fish.

Located next to Lake Suurjärvi, Tanhuvaara Sport Resort offers a private beach area, buffet restaurant and variety of on-site activities. Guests have free access to WiFi and to the fitness centre. For one night stay everything was good. Nothing stood out as really good.
