Situated in Övertorneå, Lapland View Lodge has a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautiful rooms which were even more modern and nicer than expected and that are well heated, great and diverse breakfast with vegan/vegetarian options, wonderful staff and awesome activities for reasonable prices (we did almost all of them). We loved the place and its mostly secluded surroundings and definitely recommend it.

Situated in the centre of Ylitornio, on the shores of the River Tornio, Hotel Kievari offers free sauna access, a terrace and rooms with TV and private bathroom. The Aavasaksa ski slopes are 8 km... An unassuming facade, but a very clean and super comfortable place to spend the night. We stayed here while in the area for Swim the Arctic Circle in Juoksenki and had a wonderful time. Paulina (I hope I’m spelling that right) worked the front desk and was awesome and very friendly/helpful. Plus there’s karaoke in the bar downstairs. We had a blast.

Situated 6 minutes’ drive from central Ylitornio, All rooms have a TV and free Wi-Fi access. The Swedish border is 10 km away. The view and the location on the hilltop were superb. As a cycklist on a rainy day, loved the good dryers.

Located on a reindeer farm and surrounded by forest, these cottages are next to Lake Puolamajärvi, 30 minutes’ drive from central Pello. They offer free use of a lake-side sauna and row boat. Amazing place! Great, calm location, sauna, lake, reindeer farm. Also, great value. We will try to come again, in winter this time!
