Auberge Saint Walfrid Hôtel Restaurant & Spa is situated in Sarreguemines, 5 minutes to the Faience Museum and 15 minutes from the German border. Great care and attention to detail was evident in all aspects of the property and the service provided. Wonderful artwork and pottery is on display in the public rooms and the bedrooms. Our bedroom was very spacious and well equipped, with a large comfortable bed, smart TV screen, tea / coffee facilities and minibar. The bathroom was similar, with robes, slippers and high quality products. The location was excellent - a peaceful setting a short drive from the main motorway with plenty of on-site parking. Highlight of our stay was the outstanding restaurant - the food and wine was superb and the staff were attentive and professional. For the high quality on offer, the prices were entirely reasonable. We opted for one of the tasting menus, which displayed an interesting range of ingredients, presented and cooked beautifully and full of flavor. Breakfast showed the same impeccable service, with fresh produce presented and made to order promptly. With so much to recommend, this will certainly not be our last visit.

I didn’t ask for any additional facilities though as I have been proudly off my wheelchair since 2 weeks. but he still gave us a room with those without asking any extra question regarding the need of it. It was really of great help and support. This small kind details worth deep respect of their professionalism.

The hotel is old (17 century) and has a wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly staff and comfortable bedrooms. It is perfectly situated for the cathedral (with Chagall stained glass windows), interesting town with the river Moselle running through it and plenty of good restaurants. The hotel has a good restaurant too. The breakfast is superb, everything you could want and a huge choice of fresh fruit. Close to motorway and easy parking nearby.

The rooms were cozy and clean. Hotel staff was really nice and helpful with non-standard requests ( I organized a stay there for guests of my wedding). The beds and bathroom were comfortable. My guests had rooms it’s a superb view on the Moselle river. Besides there is a nice terrace with a bar overlooking the river.
