It was as beautiful as it was quiet. Our hosts left a lovely breakfast for us which was not expected though greatly appreciated. We came for the scenery and we were not disappointed . Our hosts were exceptional!!!!

The room was very nicely decorated and furnished and the bathroom was modern with a good shower. We had a room at the back and it was nice and quiet. They don't do breakfast which we knew and which suited us having had a big breakfast every day at our previous hotel! We ate dinner in the restaurant which is lovely and the food was very good. The room price is about right for room-only and the location is good for exploring the Black Isle and Inverness.

Character building that welcomed you in from the start. Comfortable period house filled with tasteful furniture, yet super cosy. We felt so at home. Beautiful huge bedroom, and bathroom. Breakfast and dinner delicious and excellently cooked. Tucked away location so peaceful, but a short walk into the centre. Fiona is a dying breed in the hospitality industry. She took excellent care of us, and is one very talented cook to boot!

The reviews do not do this place justice. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and welcome. Breakfast is in a true Scotish tradition. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the best we had on our trip, the bathroom and showers were generously sized, and everything was clean. The host was very knowledgeable about the area. I highly recommend you stay here!

On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by the owner and staff. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable with many extras like filter coffee and tissues. The water view and quiet location just out of the city was awesome. Home cooked breakfast and dinner were divine. The guest and outdoor area were much appreciated. We did not want to leave.
