Hotel in Rothesay
Situated above its own terraced gardens, The Glenburn Hotel is a Victorian sandstone building which offers panoramic views across Rothesay Bay to the Cowal Peninsula. Fabulous property with the best beds so far in our trip (apparently the owner had the mattresses shipped in from Ireland). The woodworking inside is extravagant... about a half mile walk from the ferry, but well worth it

Glenburn Hotel Isle of Bute Scotland 🏴 our family hometown. Stayed at the Glenburn hotel more times than I.care to remember. Disappointed when it closed because the Island needs this hotel for both employment and tourism.. Stay this time around was okay with sisters ,& brother. Staff really good . Breakfast served in the dining room was good. View across Rothesay Bay is stunning.. Regards Gordon
The Victoria Hotel on the Isle of Bute offers a prime location with its breathtaking marina and ocean views, especially from the lounge dining area where you can truly appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Our room was on the 2nd floor; do note that the hotel does not have a lift, which wasn't a problem for us but might be worth considering for those with mobility issues.
Rothesay
Fantastic wee gem on the Isle of Bute! Gus and Sheree are amazing hosts who made our stay memorable from the welcome gifts to the beautiful breakfast and lunch they packed for us before we left. Attention to detail was as good as any fine hotel we have stayed in, but with the added bonus of the personal touch! We highly recommend the Highlander House
Location was excellent and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
The apartment was very spacious, very clean and had fantastic sea views. It also had outdoor space.
