The room was absolutely beautiful. The views are out of this world. The rooms were clean and facillities working. The breakfast was more than enough! The staff were very sweet and placed me next to a window for breakfast as requested. The other guests were lovely and it was nice to see animals being well looked after there. View of Loch Long: stunning! Short walk from Loch Lomond. Close to a lovely pub, bistro, local shop and a bus stop that later took me straight to Oban! The place is magical.
Balloch
Sauna . Cabin . Views. Bed .we loved everything . Absolutely stunning place and very relaxing. Owner first class and very welcoming and go extra mile to make sure your stay is excellent. Highly recommend this place I certainly will be using alot in future . Views of loch Lomond and Ben Lomond made it even more special. Out all places I've stayed and I've stayed in thousands of hotels this is my favourite place 👌👏. Take my advice and try this place as you will not be disappointed.
Beautiful location and amazing views. All the facilities you could need for a group stay. The main bathroom has a divine bath which was a nice surprise. The Duck Bay Hotel down the road serves amazing meals overlooking Loch Lomond. Great choice for something unique and special. My elderly parents would have struggled to get their luggage up the three flights of stairs without me so good for travellers to consider this. If you can manage it though, it’s well worth it!
An old inn style hotel, located in a picturesque village at Loch Lomond. Beautifully decorated, with lots of countryside atmosphere and personal touch. Superb food, with fine cuisine, kind and efficient staff; both hotel and restaurant. The receptionist managed with two clients simultaneously without loosing her smile. Finding reading books 📚 in the room gave me a real pleasure. No wonder the hotel has received so many awards.
Arrochar
Great location for exploring Loch Lomond national park or munro bagging. Lovely views from most rooms. Easy to find hotel (though parking took us a little bit to figure out...). Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and breakfast staff was generally friendly and nice to talk with. I really liked that we could choose our breakfast in advance and therefore could help limit wastage.
Location excellent. Drymen is a lovely village and near to Loch Lomond. Staff very friendly & helpful. The restaurant was closed in the evening so the receptionist booked us a table at a nearby restaurant. Very nice lady. The spa looked inviting & would use next time we stay. The hotel has a lived in highland charm & although could do with some TLC we really enjoyed our stay.
Balloch
Elegant and cozy room with everything clean, tidy and neat. Bad was very comfortable they had TV with Netflix! Staff was very polite, and they were considerate about the covid. They give you a wide range of selection for breakfast which was also perfect. Right before this trip I've spent a night in a big brand branch hotel in Edinburgh Loch Lomond Guest House made them look like amateurs.
Alexandria
There’s nothing not to like about the property, it’s private, quiet, comfortable and positioned perfectly for exploring Loch Lomond and well beyond. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to help you chill-out after a day travelling / walking. Eddie was the perfect host and ensures you are well settled in. Can’t recommend Loch Lomond Apartments enough, you won’t be disappointed.
Arrochar
A little gem, nestled on the northern banks of Loch Lomond. The chalet was beautifully presented with quirky touches with a Scottish flavour. Views of hills and Loch. Hotel with delicious food on site. Water-sport activities available in season. Five minutes to train station to access even more variety. Superb location to just relax or venture further afield.
Apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable, host Patrick was very helpful and available if needed. The apartment was in a quiet residential location but near to loch lomond, local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. Bus terminal is also nearby next to Co op supermarket. We explored the balloch area and went to Luss and duck bay
Balloch
it was in a great little town on the shores of loch lomond, beautiful places to walk and hike nearby. it was right in front of the dock for the loch cruises. there was the most beautiful park arount the castle 3 minutes walk away. there was a really good restaurant and a beer garden at the hotel. the rooms they gave us were outstanding.
Located about 45 minutes drive from Glasgow, Bonnie Barns sits on a hill overlooking Loch Lomond. The view is stunning - as is the accommodation and hot tub. The lodge had everything needed for our stay. We also walked into Luss (about 3.5 miles) where we had a Sunday roast at the Loch Lomond Arms Hotel.
Entertainment in the evening. Food was good. Brilliant location although in pictures on website it looks like hotel grounds go down to Loch Lomond, they don't. Hotel is on a junction and green area, which doesn't belong to Hotel, area has camper vans on two sides and jetty for Lock cruises.
Inversnaid
We, unfortunately, did not meet our hosts, but met only the pig in the garden, who was really nice and friendly. The room is very spacious. From the B&B we could hike straight into Loch Lomond. The Bunk Bistro half a mile down the road has a very welcoming atmosphere and good food.
Gorgeous location, the views from the restaurants are fabulous. The room was comfortable and modern. There is a small beach next to the hotel as well as a beautiful twenty minute walk along the Loch side to the Loch Lomond Shores shopping center, which is worth a visit.
Excellent welcome from all staff in all areas of The Hotel. Food was excellent and the best breakfast I have had on our journey. Room was clean and very nice and the facilities throughout well maintained. I would highly recommend Loch Lomond Hotel.

Lovely location near Loch Lomond. Very comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. The owner is very helpful and very kindly accommodated our late arrival.
Lovely stay. Good location. Close to Balloch for cruise the next day. Nice walk by Loch Lomond from the Hotel. Plenty of parking. Nice touch in the room for the special occasion. Friendly staff.
Staff were amazing. Very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel room overlooked Loch Lomond. Perfect and just a short walk to the starting point to climb Ben Lomond
