Amazing inn refurbished to a very high standard. The beds were super comfortable and I loved their courtyard. The entire place was beautiful and I could spend hours just sitting there. Food was great the inn - delicious and well cooked. However it would be good to add more options to the breakfast.

As for the location, it was very beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. We really liked the old fashion style, with a modern touch. I forgot my E-reader and they notified me straight away and made sure to send it to the Netherlands. That's why they deserve the full 10 points for service as well, it's hard to find staff as friendly and helpful as the people working in this hotel.

The staff were very friendly, approachable and went the extra mile. A lovely, quintessential English pub/restaurant. The food was excellent and served hot - as it should be if it's meant to be hot. The rooms vary, I had two due to my extended stay. Both rooms were comfortable and the beds, very comfortable. The larger room was amazing with lots of space and character. High fives for manager Lizzie / Liz (?), James the chef, Cameron, Jess, Ellie, Mia, Zack, Rosy, Izzy, Chloe , Sheryl / Cheryl (?). Good team one and all. It's dog friendly too!
