Varkiza
Spacious apartments with all the comfort needed for a short family stay. We stayed at Apollonia to visit relatives in this part of the Athenian Riviera, so the location and the services provided were perfect for us. A car is needed to move freely from the airport to the hotel and from there to the city centre or the beach.
Breakfast VERY good. Staff exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful
The resort was so spacious with amazing views. There is comfortable lounge chairs on the beach & at the pool with lots of personal space. The staff was friendly & very attentive.
Wonderful hotel which promotes it's 60s vibes
The place is fantastic. Exceptional view. Very clean. Excellent swimming pool. And above all the homemade breakfast every morning!
Perfect! Views are spectacular, villa spacious, pool great, Alexandra so helpful and only a message away if needed. The rooms are big with great views from all windows. We were met at the airport and taken to supermarket to stock up on food and drink before being taken to the villa. The roof garden is spectacular in the evenings, with views right out to the islands. We loved every minute! Thank you!
I loved that everything showed in the photos was exactly as it was: both the apartment and the common areas. There’s no trick, it’s as beautiful as you think it will be! Everything is clean and works. The TV is big and has streaming services, the pool is clean and it’s chairs & bean bags and umbrella are perfect - nothing broken, the grass is clean and cut, the roses and flowers are gorgeous and fully in bloom and smell amazing, the outdoor lounge area is unbelievably comfortable, and the outdoor dining area is also very comfortable for lunch. There is a BBQ area for those who like to grill. The washing machine holds a lot of clothes, and there’s a drying rack for you to use and your clothes dry in 1 hour. You can be certain you will love relaxing here. I definitely did. It’s a 5 minute drive from the beach and 10-15 minutes in either direction from the best restaurants on the water north near Vouliagmeni or in the other direction even more south.
We booked the room with the panorama windows. Initially I was disappointed that the balcony that comes with it doesn't have the same 180° view as the rooms below it (even though I knew it was smaller). However, the windows really are worth it once you're in bed and still have that outstanding view. Also, the 2nd floor room had not been booked, so when I asked, the proprietress said it was no problem for us to use its much bigger terrasse, she even brought up a table for us to use and served us (very nice, gluten-free on our request) breakfast there. The panorama window room itself is actually nicer than I thought it would be, the bathroom is very nice, and everything feels high quality, down to the well placed mosquito window frames. The proprietress was exceptionally friendly, she and her son helped carry our bags upstairs. Do be aware, there are several sets of stairs up to the house, and while there is an elevator up to second floor from there, the last stairs up to the third floor is quite steep. My elderly parent managed, but only just. We were forwarned by other reviews about this, and about how long the way up the steep hill is, so we came prepared with only an overnight bag and enough snacks and drinks for the evening. The room also had a kettle and coffee maker, as well as some bottled water, and even a fridge with a freezer! We could not have asked for more! ... Except we were only there for one night, to see the sunset from up high on the hill - but it was cloudy the whole time, also for the sunrise. But this was bad luck, we'll just have to come back again!
The facility is very nice. Accommodated all 8 of us. Very clean. The owner is very nice and extremely responsive a to all of our needs. We had difficulty with Internet at first, but she worked the problem to a solution, and most of the time we had satisfactory connection at high speed. She also made sure we had cab rides to a location we needed to get to, and was there when we left at 345 AM to open gate for our driver. Close to the beach, though since we travelled in April beach was not a main draw. Very close to a small town with great restaurants.
The facilities, the swimming pool, spacious rooms, good price, cleanliness
We are very satisfied with our stay in this place. It is spacious, cozy, terrace is very nice, pool is a big plus. For sure we would like to come back to this place. Mrs Oksana was very nice, friendly and helpful.
This location overlooking Saronidas is magic: splendid swimming-pool (only for us) incredible view on the sea (sunset, sunrise) Pantelis as a very welcoming guest
It is a true luxury villa, well equipped with everything you need. The host, Elena is very attentive and took care of us and was very helpful with information about the area. The villa is new, well maintained and very nicely and comfortably designed.
Very nice apartment with an excellent location! We enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to find and we got more than enough info from the host to make the stay as smooth as possible.
Everything was EXACTLY like the pictures and what we expected. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly. It is a stunning property and is in a great location.
