I can sincerely recommend Baladinos apartments. Great location both for staying there right on stretch of beach with lot of natural shade. Apartment provides sunbeds and umberellas, and for exploring north/west Crete and Chania. Main road is 2min drive from apartment, and from there it is not long drive for some of best beaches. Hosts were very pleasant, with very good advices which hidden gems of this area to visit. Be sure to ask them for this! Rooms were cleaned daily! Big garden space, all in all very relaxing and pleasant place.

Amazing nice little and quite place with fantastic people. It was such a very warm welcome from the amazing staff of the Hotel and they were always there for us to make our stay as best as possible. Our apartment was nice and comfortable. The view from the restaurant is very nice and the food was very good. We would like to thank the owner Sara and her team (especially Nicolas) for the very nice time and we hope to return in the near future. We would recommend everyone who likes to visit western Crete to stay at this awesome place.

I really liked the atmosphere at the Kumba Hostel, it is beautifully decorated with African pieces of art and I loved that. I learned that Kumba means Home. It has vast and cozy common areas which is great. It is also very clean and well maintained. My bed had a blind which provides extra privacy in a shared dorm. The girls at the reception were very friendly and helpful. The coffee you can drink there is one of the best in Chania in my opinion. I would definitely recommend Kumba Hostel to everyone planning to visit Crete.

The property was beautiful, a great beach hotel with all the amenities. Right across the street from the beach with free chairs and umbrellas. We had a great room for our family of 4. There was a buffet breakfast every morning with lots of options which was perfect. The location was great could walk to old port Rethymno. We rented a car and drove all over Crete so being located in the middle was perfect. The staff was nice and sincere and very helpful. Everything was always clean. Thank you Atlantis Beach Hotel!!

Victoria Hotel is a traditional Greek family run hotel. The room we had was immaculately clean. The room had just been refitted and had a lovely bathroom with walk in shower. The balcony although quite small had an absolutely stunning sea view. The owners of the hotel were always smiling and cheerful and were happy to help with anything we asked. The location of the hotel was perfect for the town and the beach. I really cannot say enough about how lovely this hotel is, and how it enhanced our holiday in Crete.

Very friendly, quiet place. The apartment is very clean. The owner was on site everyday and his smile and hospitality was great. The cleaning lady is always smiling and ready to help. Charming place close to the beach. A bus stop is nearby. You can visit charming places in Crete. I will remember Astra Apartments and the great atmosphere in this place for a long time. Tree of Life Art Hotel is a great place — both rationally and emotionally. Rationally, it is located not far from Chania, just meters away from a beautiful beach and minutes away from several breathtaking restaurants. Emotionally, it is a place filled with genuine attention and care, expressed by Angeliki, the charming owner of the hotel, and other members of the staff. Staying here felt like being a part of a big family, and lay a foundation for an unforgettable journey to Crete.

Breakfast was amazing and cozy, a bit like homemade. All the omelettes and pastries, really tasty. Our hotel room had the most amazing ocean view! Stunning! Location was really nice, busy street with many restaurants. Still you couldn't hear the street sounds when balcony door was closed 👌🏻 Hotel staff was really friendly and kind. They even fixed hairdryer for me, because I couldn't bring my own. If we ever gonna visit in Crete, we will choose this hotel again 😊

Viglia Beach Hotel is an exquisite hidden gem. The hosts are incredibly wonderful, kind, and always there to assist.The hotel is impeccably clean, well-equipped, and offers a cosy, comfortable room with a mega comfy bed. The lovely pool, overlooking the stunning beach, added to the charm. Our time there was exceptional, leaving us with unforgettable memories. We fell in love with Crete and Viglia Beach Hotel, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Hotel was awesome! Loved that they had a gym! Beach front was not as nice as it could be , there is a boat rental company that is right there basically where you would swim. Food was great, not cheap however was nice portions and well made. Drinks expensive but well made. One negetive that I would say is the hotel is a taxi drive from everything. Keep this in mind if you want to do things around Crete. Walking is a bit far to any near by areas of interest.

The venue and the bedroom are so perfect; new, spacious, spotlessly clean and very well designed with separation of toilet and bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is variety and well prepared. The staffs carefully help with high service mind ; called the taxi, provided the bus times, booked the ferry and prepared the meal box on the day that we left so early. We highly recommend Artion Boutique City Hotel to anyone who visits Heraklion, Crete.

Very pleasant welcome by the hotel. Alex explained us everything important and expressly took us to the room, where a fruit basket and a bottle of wine was waiting for us. Rooms are super spacious and clean, definitely worths to pay for a pool view room which actually offers you a sea view. Hotel is quiet and so the relaxing atmosphere is overwhelming. Rich and tasty breakfast and great location to start exploration of Crete.

Hotel was really lovely, just a little walk from the town centre. Lovely setting with an outdoor bar with grass area facing a private beach area. The room was a great size and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way and were extremely accommodating. Best of all was the buffet breakfast which was way above our expectation. Probably the best breakfast we have had in Crete. Would definitely stay here again.

Apartment was absolutely lovely and clean with an amazing large balcony facing the beach. Hosts supplied everything you could possibly need plus they threw in a large basket of fruit, olive oil and local pastries. The apartment is in walking distance to the main restaurants and even has a good taverna within 50meters. We have been traveling around Crete for 3 weeks and this was our nicest stay by far. We loved it!!

The Hotel is in the South of Crete in a not so turist area, is great for families with kids, lots of activities in the Kids Club, the animation team was great. Also the traditional Cretan Restaurant that they have, the food and the service were fantastic. If you get tired of the buffet, which is pretty good, you can go to the Town of Ierapetra, just 10 min walking by the promenade. Overall we had a great time.

Theos Apartments is fabulous choice for a stay on Crete near Chania town. Apartment was really spacious, well organized, clean, pool was great. The best part is staff - Katerina's family - friendly, always ready to help, prepare great and tasty snacks or drinks. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for your hospitality, it made our vacation much better than expected :)

Hotel Ormiros was lovely. The room was very spacious and well equipped, with large comfortable beds. The decor and presentation throughout the hotel was exceptional. Most of all, the staff were amazing, polite, friendly and courteous and went the extra mile to make our stay as nice as possible. Our stay was great value for money and would certainly stay again when next in Crete.

We stayed for a week there. Apartment were fully equipped, clean and modern. It has beautiful view from its balcony. Staff was very helpful we received paper and digital maps from the area got many tips. In the apartment there were some very nice gifts home made olive oil, traditional drink and wine. We will come here again for sure if we come to Crete again.
