Marina is an exceptional host that will try to do everything to make you feel like home. The rooms are big and clean with a mini fridge, hot plate, electric water heater, dishes and glasses. We had a front porch with table and chairs and a balcony with two benches and a table. You can park right in front of your room so you can check your car anytime. You can also relax at the pool which is child appropriate (60cm one side/2metres on the other) at any hour day or night.

The hotel was raised above the beach and had a fantastic pool. The room was large and well appointed with a really large bathroom. Loved the setting and the staff were really helpful and friendly. We used the spa and had a massage. The breakfast was one of the best I have had in a hotel.

I really enjoyed staying at Electra Suites on my recent trip to Samothraki! I only got to stay for two nights but will definitely go back next time I visit the island. Stelios is a generous host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good trip– in fact, on my first day, he actually drove me around the island himself so that I could visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods and Chora! Even with the language barrier, we had a pleasant time conversing via Google Translate. The other staff at the hotel were friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely group of people to spend a long weekend with. I value peace & quiet when I travel, and so I appreciated staying somewhere without street traffic or restaurant sounds that was still close to the amenities. Stelios recommended a taverna with good food about a five minute walk from the restaurant, and I went back there several times. The name was Sta Kala Kathoumena and the walk takes you through the church's courtyard. If you can, I do recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around the island– I came during the off-season and didn't realize how limited the public transit options were. I appreciated Stelios taking the time to drive me around, but I also knew he was busy running the hotel! The taxi stand on the waterfront is an easy walk- bring cash. I also spotted a scooter rental on the main drag. I have trouble sleeping, and felt very safe walking around Kamariotissa at night while trying to settle my thoughts. Stay aware of your surroundings and carry a flashlight for visibility, as there are few sidewalks in the side streets and you'll want to quickly get out of the way when people are driving through. Wherever you are in the village, you'll be able to see Mt. Saos or the sea. Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. I had a balcony overlooking the street and could see the waterfront over the roofs. (Posted for my sister, who I made this booking for.

Overlooking the azure waters of the Aegean Sea, Alexander Beach is just 2 km away from the city centre of Alexandroupolis. It offers spa facilities, 2 swimming pools and elegant accommodation. The hotel was fascinating - the room and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable, the terrace was wonderful, the pools were great, the parking and the garden were big and very green, the food was just perfect, the staff was really nice and helpful!

Alexandroupolis was great for shopping, dining and stepping off to Samothrace. There is good public transport to and from the airport and other nearby towns. The regular ferry service to Samothrace is a drawcard for the city.

View from the balcony was very pleasant. Easy communication to check-in and check out - Barbara and Christine were very responsive and friendly! The apartment is very well equipped, spacious with a modern cosy design, and clean. Highly recommended!

It is opposite the firefighting premises of Chora, almost next to the health department of Samothrace and still very quiet during the night. The facility is by the sea. The island of Samothraki is in front of you and has a crystal clear sea. The beach is also sand. There is direct access to the sea from your room. Staff were helpful and friendly. The welcome was very good. Our room was upgraded to a Junior Suite room free of charge. A bottle of wine, fresh fruits and desserts welcome you in your room. Wi-fi was free. There was a good connection at the reception, but sometimes there was no connection in the area where our room was located. It wasn't that important to us. The bathroom had a shower and private bathtub. Very close to taverns. You can reach everywhere by taking a pleasant walk along the coastline. Breakfast was very good. You can find most of what you are looking for. There is no parking problem either. We were very pleased as a family. We thank you for everything.
