Located in the green belt area of Szentgotthard, Hotel Zsida offers rooms with free WiFi and cycling tours in the Őrség natural park. A very relaxing and magical like atmosphere in a traditional mansion. Everything was very clean and nicely decorated. The room was spacious and comfortable with an impeccable bathroom. The owner was very friendly and warmly welcomed us. This is a place that definitely has to be visited again.

The Gotthard Therme Hotel & Conference in Szentgotthárd is situated next to the Szentgotthárd Spa&Wellness and 1.5 km from the Austrian border. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. Very good food much better than I expected. Well done. This hotel has a good chef.

Very close to Szentgotthárd’s train station, Lipa Hotel és Étterem offers Hungarian and Slovenian cuisine, free WiFi and rooms with cable TV. Great breakfast, great staff, located next to train station, but very quiet, and clean. Great value for money.

Set in the westernmost part of Hungary, close to the Slovenian and Austrian borders, Andante Pension & Restaurant offers modern-style accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The location of the hotel is good, rooms are clean and big. The restaurant is very good and looks very nice. There is private parking and good wi-fi.

The Abbazia Country Club is located in Nemesnep, close to the Slovenian border. It offers apartments with kitchenettes and a large spa area. We had a big two floor apartment. Pool was nice and warm. Breakfast was delicious - eggs, sausages, ham, cheese, pate, cereals, Jura coffee, juices. as a bonus - you can sit on a saddle at the bar :)

Offering a garden and garden view, A-765 Apartman is set in Szentgotthárd, 17 km from Güssing Castle and 35 km from Riegersburg Castle. It’s a separate house in a quite neighbourhood, including 3 apartments with their own separate entries. it has the small garden with the table and the parking space. 5 mins drive from the Austrian border. The apartment was sunny, with big windows and the possibility to close them from outside with from the sun light and as a safety measure at night.It was clean, spacious, kitchen had all necessary utensils for cooking/dining etc. The bath towels are provided ( no toiletries). Monika met as late in the evening to let us in :)

Set just 29 km from Güssing Castle, Szlovén Mintagazdaság provides accommodation in Felsőszölnök with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as private check-in and check-out. Breakfast was exceptional! Prepared daily for all guests, a mix of local items and the homemade apple juice was delicious. Guest house was quiet and centrally located for our daily excursions. The staff took the time to speak with us, which made the experience very nice. Be sure to enjoy a meal at the delicious restaurant and take in the views from the patio.

Featuring free WiFi, a barbecue and a terrace, Naturpark Vendégház offers accommodation in Alsószölnök, in the Őrség National Park. Free private parking is available on site. The location was perfect, the room looked like as it is on the photos. The owner was very kind as well.

Set in Magyarszombatfa, 15 km from Moravske Toplice Livada Golf Course, Ginti Panzió, Őrség offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared... My expectations were definitely exceeded and i was really treated well by the owner. His cooking is unique and he has a passion for it! The room was great quality and authentic.

Boasting pool with a view and views of inner courtyard, Vidéki Ház-Őrség is a guest house set in a historic building in Kerkafalva, 46 km from Zalaszentiván Vasútállomás. The landlady and her husband were extremely nice and helpful, they even gave us some advices where to go and what to do around the area. The apartment was super clean, and equipped. The whole place is really fabulous, it is like a peaceful home.
