Crover House Hotel & Golf Club is located on the North-East shores of Lough Sheelin Lake between Cavan and Ballyjamesduff. This was a random pick for us on way back to Dublin airport. It was an unexpected beautiful drive as well as an unexpected beautiful setting that was our place of stay! Would highly recommend if you are on a self drive through the countryside

It was spacious and well appointed. The bedroom was large and very comfortable- staff were obliging and friendly.

In 1,300 acres of country estate, the luxurious Farnham Estate Spa and Golf Resort has a spa with an outdoor infinity pool, forest walkways and an 18-hole golf course. Cavan Town is 3 km away. The spa and meals were outstanding. The pool and spa area was fantastic, very relaxing. Every meal we had for the 2 days was amazing, couldn't fault it.

Situated in the centre of Cavan town on the main street, The Farnham Arms Hotel features a bar and restaurant. Location could not be better. It is on Main Street so bang in the centre of Cavan. All staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. My room and bathroom were spacious, with a kettle and tea and coffee, a hair dryer and a safe box - all in great working order. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet even though it was in the middle of town. There was also an ironing board and iron outside in the corridor for guests' use which was a great idea. Breakfast was very adequate with a good choice. I had meals in the Carvery and also the bar, both of which were very good value. I would highly recommend this hotel.
