Great rooms, on the ground floor, were so comfortable. Staff were happy to accommodate requests, and provide vegan options at breakfast and dinner. Super comfortable chairs and sofa in suites. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the Jacuzzi bath was a great, luxury addition. Maura, the other reception staff and the breakfast staff made us feel welcome and appreciated, and were happy to accommodate our requests. The Ivy Lounge has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff there were professional and efficient, and attentive without being fussy. Our party included 1 vegan, and we tried most items on the menu during our stay. All our choices were very good. Will definitely recommend to friends and would love to stay there again.

Kenmare
I stayed in rooms above pubs the entire week I traveled in Ireland, and this was by far the best. The room was large and comfortable, and had several features typical to American hotel rooms - desk, ironing board, safe, washcloths. The bath products smelled wonderful. The decor was interesting and up-to-date. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options, including fruit and veg, and great coffee. The location is right in the middle of town, and Kenmare is an excellent base for exploring the Ring of Kerry.
Caherdaniel
We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Forge and it was a highlight of our trip around Ireland! The location was perfect to enjoy the south side of the Ring of Kerry (easily our favourite part), close to beaches, as well as seeing the stars on a clear night. It was a picturesque, comfortable BnB from the get go with the most gorgeous view of the sea from our window, and the breakfast choices were delicious everyday. Everything was really perfect. We would stay here again in an instant, thank you so much Kathy and team :)
Castleisland
I loved this place. All the comforts of home. The owners Sheila and Owen had gone through the the extra trouble of providing snacks and treats and also came by for a visit to meet us. This was by far my favorite accommodations on our Great Britain / Ireland vacation. A very short walk to town. Pats restaurant is about 100 yards away. Great food at a fair price and recommended by the owners and myself. Thanks again for everything. Castleisland is also the perfect proximity to all the surrounding attractions of Kerry.
Killarney
Favorite stay from our trip to Ireland! Located on a peaceful family farm 15 mins from downtown Killarney and right at the Ring of Kerry road. The pods themselves were super comfortable and equipped with everything one might need, including a fridge, kettle, coffee, tea, milk, cereal etc. In the morning, the hosts dropped by with a lovely breakfast basket with fresh bread, butter, honey and eggs (which we cooked in the common kitchen). The hosts were lovely and very responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer!
Kenmare
We were in Ireland for 20 days so we wanted a variety of experiences. We chose this location because it gave us a chance to be alone for a while. No hotels, or B&Bs. It was a great place to recharge the batteries. Nearby places in Kenmare to buy food so it was easy making meals. Very quiet and peaceful location. Outstanding views. There is a golf course close by, but don't recall if it's open to non-members. Just off the Ring of Kerry with easy access to the ring.
Kenmare
Our stay at Valhallla BnB was the best in Ireland so far. Jens and Barry are awesome hosts that take care of everything you need as a traveller. The rooms are elegant, super clean and love for the details can be seen everywhere in the house. The trip recommondations we received from our hosts made our days Beara and Kerry even more joyfull. Last but not least the breakfast: Freshly made and really tasty! There is absolutely nothing to criticize! 10/10.
Killarney
This cottage is beautiful, clean, and a wonderful place to stay near Killarney. Rosemarie was an excellent host - very communicative and she checked in to make sure all was going well regularly throughout our stay. Off the beaten path, this cottage is a lovely respite for anyone traveling through Ireland, and conveniently located just 20ish minutes away from Killarney. Perfect for those who want a quiet place to stay as they visit Kerry!
We stayed at 5 hotels during a 2 week trip to Ireland, at least 2 of them were 5 stars and Brook Lane was our favorite. It felt personal, warm and comfortable. And it was SPOTLESS, with good sized rooms. The staff was friendly, the food and service at Casey's was exceptional particularly considering the price x value. The location is perfect for walking access to Kenmare and for driving access the Ring of Kerry. I will be back!
This was our second time staying in this place i 3 months time.Like coming home!Cozy place with very welcoming owner. Eggs in the fridge for a breakfast, comfy bed, after long day traveling from other part of Ireland.Free tickets to Kerry cliffs in the morning.Chuppi, our dog,was second time there and felt like home directly. Thank you,Marie! You are Fantastic. Looking forward to come over again, because we love Co.Kerry and your place😊
Kenmare
Everything. David, Mirian, and their daughter are spectacular host. They have been very kind and flexible for the check-in. They spoiled us with care and attentions. The rooms and the whole b&b are very clean and accurately furnished. The home-made breakfast was super (definitely the best had in Ireland during our vacation). Absolutely suggested. If we come back to Ireland and Kerry, we will come back to Rockcrest House.
The Lake is our favorite hotel in Ireland. Beautiful room, amazing view of the lake and Castlelough, wonderful food in thte bistro. Quiet, peaceful place even when fully booked. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff is friendly and attentive. This would be a good “home base” for a number of hiking and driving days in County Kerry, adjacent to the nearby national park, Killarney and Kenmare.
Kenmare
The house was well appointed, and Josephine had great insights on places to see. We really appreciated the coffee maker, wifi, and excellent shower. The location was great for exploring the ring of Kerry and the Dingle peninsula, and having cows as neighbors was a hit with the kids. It was also remote and quiet enough to be really restful. There really is nothing like fresh Ireland air. 🍀
We loved our staff at Hotel Ard na Sidhe. We enjoyed the restaurant and drinks in the library/sitting room. The grounds had many gardens to explore. This is a beautiful property with wonderful staff. The location is convenient if you are working your way around the Ring of Kerry (a few minutes driving distance from Killorglin) and the parking is easy and safe.
Getting slightly used to very high prices in Ireland this hotel surprised me with price to value ratio, especially when I factor in their incredible breakfast Breakfast included in price Room was very comfortable and location good for a drive around the Ring of Kerry Hidden gem - the place has the best restaurant in the area. Definitely a real dinner pleasure
I would highly recommend River Island hotel in Castleisland. The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, the rooms were very clean and the hotel situated right in the middle for tourists travelling around Beautiful Kerry. We had a fantastic week staying in the River Island Hotel. Keep up the good work all the friendly staff 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Castlemaine
comfortable and great location for visiting Dingle and Kerry. best staff that made us feel like home. they even gave us great tips about visiting dingle, Kerry and driving up to the cliffs of Moher, and even taught us some Irish and about the Irish culture. highly recommend booking! one of our favorite parts of visiting Ireland.
Hotel is conveniently located to exploring Killarney National Park and Ring of Kerry. Staff was gracious and room was well appointed and I enjoyed several drinks and quick meals in their on-premise pub. I was also pleased that the room had working windows as I find most hotel rooms too stuffy and warm to sleep comfortably.
Cahersiveen
The location, food and views are the best we've experienced. The Attention Eilis and Tom gave made us feel welcomed and above all, the help and tips they offered us to get our dreamed Skelling Michael tour. It is a really nice place to stay and visit the Ring of Kerry and just enjoy Ireland's contry side life.
Hotel was clean and met expectations for a budget/family hotel. The bathroom was bigger than I’d expected which was nice. Personally I liked that it was north of downtown (easy to launch Ring of Kerry), but worth mentioning it would be a fairly long walk if you’re spending all your time in downtown Killarney.
Hotel staff was phenomenal- especially Corina. And the food was the most delicious food I’ve had in Ireland. Both the seafood chowder AND the Kerry Lamb were superb. I could cut the lamb with my fork it was so tender. My mouth is watering just thinking of it!
