The apartment is huge & we'll appointed. Great location by the river, near the village. Not too far to drive to all sorts of interesting places. Featuring a garden and views of garden, Glebe House is a country house situated in a historic building in Taghshinny, 27 km from Athlone Institute of Technology. This was a perfect spot to stop, right in the center of the countryside. The location was easy to find. It’s very peaceful, with friendly people and pets (including dogs, cats and horses). The rooms were spacious with en suite, air conditioning and a tv. The breakfast was delicious with more than enough to fill even the hungriest teenage boys. We’ve told all of our friends to stay here on their visit. The local Inn, just a short distance away, has a fantastic pub where we had one of the best dinners of our entire trip. I only wish we hadn’t been just passing-through because the local walks/hikes sounded amazing.

Offering a garden and garden view, Longford Holiday Red Rose Self Catering Cottage is located in Longford, 38 km from Leitrim Design House and 39 km from Roscommon Museum. The cottage was lovely. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The setting was perfect....so pretty. A very thoughtful touch that the hostess left us a cake and chocolate which we enjoyed...and also milk, coffee and tea. It was easy to access our key from the lockbox. The hostess has a booklet that was quite useful. It had everything we needed to know about the cottage, garbage, recycling, cabs, close restaurants, etc. It was the perfect guideline and we used it a lot.
