The proximity to the main market was a huge convenience, allowing me to explore the heart of Shillong effortlessly. The hospitality at Hotel Crown Pegasus truly sets it apart. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, providing a warm reception that included a variety of welcome foods and drinks. What a fantastic way to start my stay! Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Shillong souvenir, a thoughtful gesture that added a personal touch to my visit. Despite the ongoing renovations, the hotel managed to ensure a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. While some areas were undergoing improvements, it did not significantly impact the overall positive experience. The prices were reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service and amenities provided.

Rooms are amazingly big, airy and well furnished for the prices. Manager and all the staff are extremely warm and professional. Cleanliness is impeccable. A small dinning area plus balcony at the back of the room makes it a pleasant stay. Must for a short to long term stay. It is about 20 minutes drive away from Police Bazaar. It is very close to main centre but at the sometime, it is far away from the maddening crown and traffic jams of Shillong.

Everything beautiful lies away from Shillong , you may stay in Shillong as your base but make everyday as an excursion day to visit various nature and scenic spots. There is no restaurant with any authentic food of specific area but we tried City hut Dhaba and Quizine which are decent places for eat, there are others like them. It is a capital of Meghalaya and one meets the people of the North East about whom we knew little, it helps to know them better.

I travelled with my boyfriend. Shillong has good restaurants and cafes. I had good Bastenga curry at Centre point hotel. I also had great Manipuri food in a restaurant, name of which I don’t recall. We heard great live music in Cafe Shillong. Most of the restaurants in Shillong will never disappoint you in terms of flavour. I loved everything I consumed in all of Meghalaya. One would love it if she/he appreciates both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Apart from food, I expected Shillong city to be clean. However, I was a bit disappointed to find the city very dirty. Most of the drains were open, and walls were tainted with spit. This was especially the case in Police Bazar.
