This is an oasis in the busy town of Allepey, with comfortable rooms, great views from the front porch, a lot of places to stay and relax, between trees and plants, and excellent services provided by Daniela, who could not have been more helpful!

Set in Alleppey, Beach vibe hostel has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautiful place. The room was really big, actually the biggest dorm room I ever stayed in. Beds individual, not 2 floor, that gave a feeling of more privacy. Very comfy mattress. Really big bathroom. Very clean. The owner very friendly and assisted with all questions. Beach few minutes away. There are few small shops nearby to buy snacks, and also cafe available in the hostel.

Vijo, Sam and Tom made it a memorable stay. Extremely welcoming and super friendly, we were made to feel at home. The food is excellent and dining is a communal affair with other guests, which is great as you can share tips on your trip. The gardens are lovely, the location a little out of the way but that is why we chose this homestay. Vijo has a selection of activities you can partake in. We did a few and loved the massage and cooking lesson. If you want a truly memorable experience which is chilled with good food, choose here!

Offering an infinity swimming pool, Ameya Kerala is situated on the Vembanad Lake near Varanad, away from the crowded Kumarakom. Each room is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Ameya Kerala is truly amazing! The property,built in 2018 to a high standard and with lovely fittings and decorations,is owned by a French couple and run by well trained and efficient Indian staff. Anish was particularly helpful in arranging future bookings and Mr Navraj was very knowledgeable about many things. English spoken was excellent. The kitchen girls were also most attentive. The grounds are beautifully maintained by the gardeners. The food at Ameya was extremely good. Delicious in fact! Beautiful views across the lake with much bird life greets one and one is struck by the peacefulness of it all. Walks or bike rides to the local market area are enjoyable and,of course, canoe rides on the lake can be arranged. All in all we found Ameya quite exceptional and one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We could find no fault with anything.

We had an amazing stay at Alleppey haven Beach villa. The facilities were great, the pool was very clean and badminton was fun at night. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A big shout out to Clint, who gave us loads of suggestions and couldn't help us enough! He was always on hand if you had any queries. All in all our stay was great and we will definitely be back!

The family member running the place, Jeswin Thomas, couldn’t have been nicer! He did everything he could to make our stay comfortable. A local restaurant delivered food and the staff here prepared a simple breakfast to our room. The house is right along a canal and the room itself was very clean and comfortable. It was bliss just relaxing on our balcony and watching the world cruise by.
