It is possibly THE prime site in Bellagio ( wonderful!) next to Hotel du Lac and in a brilliant place to see the people, dogs and ducks, coming and going with the most beautiful backdrop of Lake Como and mountains beyond… It has a good kitchen so you can cook your own food if you want to. If you have a car, message the hosts- they can arrange a parking space in a private covered car park for a reasonable fee, and it all works very smoothly, which would otherwise be pretty near impossible in Bellagio, where there is almost no parking available!

Beautiful small hotel at the edge of Lake Como. Lovely room decorated in traditional style, very elegant. Well appointed bathroom. We had a corner room with one window overlooking the lake and the other looking at the mountain. Room was very clean. Lovely café on ground floor with delicious pastries and coffee has large windows overlooking the lake. The staff was very friendly. Hotel is a few blocks from ferry stop that takes you to other towns around the lake. Menaggio is peaceful and easy to walk. Definitely recommend staying here.

My stay at Hotel Paradiso was exceptional - the team at the hotel was so friendly and responsive - even helping us with transport options to Brunate prior to check in. They were also very responsive via email which was helpful, especially as first time travellers to Italy. Everyone at the hotel was also really helpful with travel tip and activities in Brunate. The hotel room was perfect, with beautiful views of Lake Como and exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Paradiso !

Hotel is in quiet town and an ideal base for day trips to Verrano, Bellagio and other areas of Lake Como. You have a choice of traveling by train or ferry as both stations are within walking distance from the hotel. Our room was clean and had a stunning lake view from our private balcony. The on-site restaurant serves good food with a pretty view. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Samuel at the front desk. We had some difficulty getting to the hotel and he provided excellent communication all throughout.

The hotel is located near Lake Como (although not right next to it) and is surrounded by mountains making the location top. This seems to be a small hotel run by a family which tends to do everything as best as possible. Breakfast contained a lot of home-grown veggies which tasted delicious. The host was really friendly, constantly doing her best to make us feel good and welcomed. Also offered some great tips on how to explore the Lake Como. Hotel has a nice terrace which ends in a crystal clear pool.

Apartment is really lovely and unique, view from the kitchen is amazing! Nicole, our host was just out of this world. Perfect communication from the beginning, she allowed us to check in earlier and check out later than we agreed at first. She also helped us out enormously, as we had trouble with wedding dress (we were staying by Lake Como for a wedding photoshoot) and we can say, that Nicole saved our wedding photoshoot :). We really recommend staying at Il mulino!

We loved our stay at this apartment. Location is ideal, walking distance to the Lake Como and the city. There is supermarket just 5 min away and petrol station near by. Apartment had everything we needed. The only warning for those, who travel by car, don't park on the street over the night. Our car got broken in, plus several other tourists from the same area. There is underground parking near the flat which I would highly recommend using instead.

Book a room with a balcony overlooking the lake and Varenna across the way. Relax with a drink of your choice and watch the activity on the square. Reception has answers to all your questions. Easy walking distance to the ferry dock, the bus depot, and a major grocery store. Restaurants all around. Hotel Garni Corona is a great choice for your stay. They met all my expectations and were a major factor in us having a great week on Lake Como.

Easy access to Como and Cernobbio but slightly removed from general traffic. Apartment was spacious, furnishings reflected a true family vacation residence and the view, terrace and building area was very enjoyable. The property manager was very communicative and responsive. Overall a very pleasant and interesting location in which to relax and use as a base for enjoying the various locations and activities in the Lake Como area.

Hotel Olivedo is located a short walk from train station in Varenna, and directly in front of the ferry terminal. So to explore the Lake Como area, this is truly an ideal spot. The breakfast room is lovely and the presentation of food was more than sufficient. I loved the service each morning - very responsive and great waitstaff! The hotel itself is a beautiful structure, and very impressive as one pulls into the dock.

Fabulous location in an adorable narrow alleyway just up from Lake Como. Footsteps away from all the ferries and extremely convenient. Apartment has a full size bed, a twin bed, and a pull-out sofa bed, so it suited our family of four just fine. Lots of closet and shelf space upstairs. No oven in the kitchen but we didn't need one - the stovetop is probably enough if you're going to cook. Kitchen was well supplied.

The location, right on Lake Como, was fantastic. We had a lake front room with a large balcony/terrace, which gave us a beautiful view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. With few restaurants nearby, the onsite restaurant, with a varied menu, made dining easy. I will recommend Hotel Regina to all my friends looking for a beautiful vacation spot on Lake Como.

For the price you can't beat Lake Como Hostel! It's situated on the outskirts of Menaggio (5-10 minute walk), with rooms overlooking the gorgeous Lago di Como. The building and the rooms were a bit worn but seemed reasonably clean. We had the 6-person room with private bathroom, which was nice. For the price, a simple breakfast (some rolls, coffee and juice) is even included.

Hotel Europa is a very nice family-run business. The owners are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel very welcome. They are happy to give you further tips to explore lake Como. The room was clean and comfortable. Last, but not least, the hotel restaurant serves excellent home made pasta. It was the best we had throughout our entire trip in Italy.

Apartment has an amazing view, was exceptionally clean and Roberta was an excellent host. We stayed three nights and had a most enjoyable stay. An excellent place to stay on the North end of Lake Como. I would highly recommend this apartment for those looking for a quite and restful getaway. We will definitely come back!

This was the most amazing property to stay in. Extraordinarily serene, peaceful and beautiful by such a quiet part of Lake Como. The local walking through the hamlets as well as the longer hikes into the hills above Bellagio will long be remembered. We did not want to leave Pescalo Apartments-simply Paradise!

Everything! We stayed 6 nights after a gruelling few days with driving tours of the Black Forest and Swiss Alps - the calm, comfortable and beautiful Hotel Tullio was the perfect recipe for us. Top staff, top location with lake Como views and an amazing hotel - highly recommended!

We had the suite and it was incredible. The view from our balcony was phenomenal! The room was comfortable, the staff were fantastic, we couldn’t have asked for a better location on the lake. If you’re going to Lake Como, Hotel Royal Victoria is the only place you need to stay!

Fantastic apartment in an incredible location. We loved sitting on the little balcony in the evening watching the sun go down over lake Como. Apo Apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed Eating at the owners restaurant was an experience not to be missed

Apartment is well located, walking distance to Lake Como, new building, very clean and well equipped. Just a walking distance to Lidel ( grocery store). Restaurants is also nearby. All you need for your stay is right there. Secured building with your own parking spot.
