Hotel Florida Lerici 3 stars

Hotel in Lerici

Hotel Florida enjoys a beachfront location around 10 minutes' stroll from Lerici and San Terenzo. Expect great facilities such as a rooftop terrace and free Wi-Fi internet. The care taken by this family to treat each guest like family, mirrored our experience at Misia Resort. Tender, loving care has been taken of this hotel and it was clear that all staff members have bought into the owners clear belief that each guest is special and ought to be treated accordingly. Grazie mille. We cannot wait to return.

Excelsior Palace Portofino Coast 5 stars

Hotel in Rapallo

Featuring panoramic views of Portofino Bay, Excelsior Palace is a luxury 5-star hotel offering 2 restaurants, sun terraces and spacious rooms, many with sea views. A wonderful hotel with history. The highest level of service, attention and attitude towards clients. Yes, the hotel may have some imperfections in the decoration of the rooms - it is not new, but it definitely has the spirit of the old school five-star luxury hotels that you feel when you cross the threshold. Classic disign, paintings on the walls, waiters in the white uniform... For us - we really liked everything - the quality of the room, the bed, the view, the service. Very tasty breakfast. Well equipped gym, heated pool. Free parking. Will return here again with great pleasure.

Situated in Monterosso al Mare, 28 km from Castello San Giorgio, Hotel Il colle di Monterosso features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a bar. The service and hospitality provided at Hotel Il Cole was truly exceptional. The room we were staying at was big, specious and very well maintained. But the highlight was definitely the staff who took immense care of us. Big shout out to Anna for being such an amazing host and guide. Would highly recommend this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Liguria

A Spectacular Sea of Colour

Although one of Italy’s smallest regions, Liguria punches well above its weight for incredible scenery. Its coastline stretching from the French border to the port of La Spezia is lined with brightly coloured houses, including those spectacularly hugging cliffs in the Cinque Terre villages.

Equally impressive is Portofino harbour, one of the most beautiful in Italy. In a country that counts Venice, Sorrento and Capri amongst its harbour towns, that’s quite some accolade. Next door Rapallo has a long promenade watched over by a castle.

Levanto’s promenade is supported by pillars on the beach below and overlooks mountains descending into the Mediterranean Sea. Portovenere at the tip of a peninsula has a Gothic church on a rocky outcrop.

The Liguria capital is Genoa, Italy’s busiest port and home to one of Europe’s largest Old Towns. Varazze to the west has a sweeping beach, as does Alassio – 2 resorts with lots of Liguria hotels on the beach on Booking.com. A fortress guards the entrance to Savona harbour, while Albenga has medieval spires and cobbled streets.

Low hills are the backdrop to Imperia’s beach and neighbouring Diano Marina is lapped by turquoise waters. When thinking of Liguria hotels, luxury springs to mind and nowhere is this truer than in exclusive Sanremo, home to an annual music festival and glamorous casino.
