This was my second year visiting Ortisei during Christmas holidays and staying at Hotel Pradell. The service is one of the best you could ever imagine. The hotel is a little bit up the hill, so there is always a mini bus that takes you up or hotel always helps out as well. This time we took Christmas dinner and it was so lovely and breakfast is wonderful as well. If you snowboard or ski you can easily go down the hill straight to Gondola that takes you up the mountain and then at the end of the day straight go to hotel from mountain top 🏔️.

Location is excellent - very close to Seceda cable car. Also very near the center of Ortisei - the shops and restaurants. Fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is recently refurbished, with some very cool vintage pieces (the old stove integrated in a modern kitchen). Apartment itself has 2 bunk bed bedrooms, one master bedroom, a living room and a kitchen. There were three of us, but it could easily accommodate 6-8 persons. Parking is available in the yard. Internet connectivity was great. The host (Mattia) was very welcoming and responsive.

The hotel is located in a valley on the edge of Val Gardena. Private and picturesque, it’s only 7minutes by car from Ortisei. The hotel is furnished in traditional mountain style, the spa is great, divided into two parts, the swimming pools, including heated outdoor pool and jacuzzi and a sauna area with traditional and steam saunas. The breakfast is really great, including Prosecco and made to order egg dishes. There’s also a free shuttle service to the main ski lifts in Ortisei and a nice ski storage room.

Everything was perfect! Hotel is located in a quiet area with an amazing view of the mountains and Ortisei. It has a parking garage with direct entrance in the hotel. Wellness area is very nice with a small heated infinity pool and different types of saunas. The room is clean and beautifully decorated with a nice balcony. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful, they even gave us free bus tickets (there is a bus stop in front of a hotel). Breakfast and linner were delicious with a wide variety of food an drinks.

We liked Angelina, but we felt like the poor cousin of the fancy hotel next door. With that said, the rooms were nice and the bed was comfy. The best part of our stay was the breakfast and the two ladies who hosted the breakfast--they were both wonderful. The location was good too--just off the main tourist street in Ortisei and within walking distance from the ski lift to the Alpe di Siusi. We did like the chance to participate in some of the activities offered by the larger hotel next door.

Hotel Fortuna is an immaculately clean bed-and-breakfast hotel situated a short walk from the centre of Ortisei (St Ulrich). The property is furnished to a high standard; there is car parking beneath the hotel, up a narrow access road; the staff and proprietor are lovely. This is a great hotel to stay at if you wish to visit the very picturesque village of Ortisei in Val Gardena, but do not wish to pay the (very) high prices of the better-known hotels in the centre of the village.

This hotel is amazing! We loved our stay so much. The staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast is delicious and a lot of choice what to eat. Lunch and dinner are available for separate small price. Highly recommend taking it, desserts were unforgettable. Hotel also provided us free bus tickets to Ortisei (so nice and convenient). The bus stop is 1min walk. The room is big, clean and had a nice view and a terrace. We would definitely book again once we are back to the valley.

We loved everything about Hotel Platz! Such a charming unexpected delight, so close to Ortisei and Val Gardenia! The food and staff were exceptional~ always a delicious breakfast and dinner, w a warm welcome from staff. They couldn’t do enough for you! We definitely plan to make Platz part of our plans when we travel again! And the views!! Incredible! Each day, they put together a little daily menu, which included hiking trails in the area~ just wonderful! We will be back!

We loved everything. Erich picked us up from the bus stop with all our luggage and took us to the apartment. The apartment is immaculately clean and very cosy. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is very large and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The best thing about the apartment are the views of the mountains and Ortiseii. Just stunning! An easy 10 minute walk into town. We would have loved to stay longer. Thanks Erich and Dagmar for a wonderful stay.

Large apartment, very comfortable for a family of four. Definitely not modern styling, but still practical, clean and well maintained,. Underground parking slot with easy access. The hosts were very helpful, we received a free transport card for the local buses, free voucher for Mar Dolomiti aqua park and also a promotion voucher for Dolomiti ski pass. Ski bus stop "Luna" is very close to the residence. Ortisei is great and this was a great place to explore it.

Beds were comfy, breakfasts were really great! We took up the option of using the local pool 1 afternoon after a hike- would definitely recommend this- lovely outdoor pools- really nice way to relax. Hotel is in a great location, approximately 5 minute walk from most places in Ortisei (lifts, restaurants, supermarket). If you can we would probably recommend spending a bit more and having access to a balcony, we didn't but with hindsight probably would have used it.

Garni Hotel Geier was amazing. Our hosts Karin and Erwin were the nicest people you will ever meet and always willing to give out little tips or provide assistance if needed. Delicious breakfast each morning which set you up for a day of skiing. The room was comfortable and had a lovely bathroom. it was also a good location short walk to center of Santa Cristina town and short bus to Ortisei and Selva. also short walk to ski lifts!

This is the best place I ever stayed in Italy. Clean, well-equipped, good location and prefect views. The host is very nice, friendly and helpful. During our 3-night stay, he really helped us a lot: bus and swimming pool tickets are provided; he let us taste the best quality oil in Italy; and helped me to find my lost passport!! I definitely recommend this place to everyone who’s planning to stay in Ortisei. Best experience ever.

The location is very nice although you probably won’t walk to the Ortisei town center. The apartment itself is brand new, very tastefully and luxuriously furnished. Very stylish. Also impeccably clean. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need. The washer and the dryer are available in the ski room. The owners are very nice couple and we enjoyed meeting them.

Great hotel and resort. Beautiful room with outstanding views from balcony. Everything about our stay was incredible. Friendly staff, excellent service. Breakfast buffet great (you can order eggs any way you like). Optional dinner at 25 euros pp was excellent. Free bus in front of hotel into Ortisei. Pool, spa, gym all excellent. Highly recommend!

Excellent Location. The hotel represents the local Italian culture; the food and decorations all are eye-catching. Most importantly are the staff. They are very helpful and will provide the assistance for their guests with smile. I want to commend Peter, Gonzales and everyone in this hotel for making our stay in Ortisei Fabulous. It is great Hotel.

The property was super clean and well decorated. The owners of the Hotel were really kind to us and all the residents too. this property deserves 5 star instead of 3 in comparing to the other 4 stars properties in Italy, location, breakfast and facilities were great. definitely, I will stay again in this Hotel whenever I visit Ortisei.

The hotel has amazing view, could see the mountains, very beautiful. The breakfast is excellent, very fresh and tasty. Room is clean and well functioning. It only takes 20 minutes walk to ortisei city center. Hosts are super friendly and easy to communicate. There’s even a small farm where you could see rabbits, goats and sheep.

Apartment was spacious, beautiful, clean and comfortable in a great location. Our host Brenda was very accommodating and spent time with us providing wonderful recommendations for hiking in the Dolomites and eating in town. She also gave us free bus passes so we could ditch our car and take a short ride to Ortisei to hike from.

A beautiful hotel centrally located in Ortisei. It is just a few minutes walk to cable car stations. Many restaurants are nearby. Host & hostess are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our 2-night stay very much. Oskar, thanks for preparing breakfast early so we could had breakfast before catching an early morning bus.
