Unfortunately, we didn't see the rocket launch, so we wish we could come back someday.

Located by the sea and just a 5-minute walk from Nishino-omote Port on the island, Tanegashima Araki Hotel offers great views and the beer garden during summer. This hotel is the 2nd floor of the onsen. It is actually located in Tanegashima Onsen "Akaogi no Yu." If you go to the hotel as I did you will be met with what has become Tanegashima's COVID sanatorium! It is walking distance to nearly everything in Nishinoomote.

The house was spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Staff members were very kind and helpful. Special thanks to one person - once again thank you for everything! Also, thanks to the fact that we didn't have a car, we met an incredibly nice taxidriver who accompanied us throughout our stay. We wish we could come back there someday.
