First of all, I should say that we had a perfect stay at Mara Explorer Camp. My wife had her reservations towards safari camping, but our stay and experience were so fulfilling thanks to everyone at Mara Explorer that even she was so happy that we did this :). All of the people and staff at the camp were all welcoming and helpful, they made our day, especially, Lawrence, Dominic and Bonface. Our chefs were so talented and everything we ate was so good. Our game drives and Dominic were exquisite, thanks to him we got to see almost all of the thrilling wildlife. Thanks for this incredible 3 nights and 4 full days.

So special place in nice location on the Talek river, many animals around , hippos and crocodiles monkeys and more. The rooms are very clean and have all the facilities you will need. The food is superb. And the staff are very friendly and always happy to help on all what needs. It’s not my first time in Mara but it’s the best place I have ever stay in Mara.

It was our second visit to Mara NP, but our first time sleeping within these grounds. Waking up with a river view and having zebras or hyenas or giraffes looking right across is mesmerising. The tent was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for three persons. Esmo was assigned to take care of us at meal times and he did a wonderful job. The meals were freshly prepared and very good. It was like a set menu and there was always a vegeterian option. The Masai also made us feel safe in the evening while escorting us.

everything it’s absolutely beautiful, the hotel , location, staff are amazing, super friendly and nothing is a bother. we arrived late day one (our own fault) and on leaving they had a packed lunch ready for us to take as they said we had missed one of our lunches! if your looking for a authentic stay inside the Masai Mara park with the most fantastic setting wrapped around you then 100% recommend the Ashnil. we were a family of 5 - all adults and everyone adored it. lovely big swimming pool with sun lounge area ..

We were so happy to book Jambo Mara Safari lodge the way last minute since our previous booking fell through. The staff were amazing and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend Jambo Mara Safari lodge and would stay again if going to Masai Mara. The food was great too!

The staff was extremely kind, the place is beautiful and it’s really camping in the wild with the comfort of a bed and the safety of security staff

The property was in a good position for safari. The staff were really friendly and the food for lunch and evening meals was delicious. The experience at the hotel was really authentic and loved the rented accommodation. We were very fortunate to see monkeys by the pool.
