Our stay at Villa Thamburu was absolutely perfect. The villa is absolutely beautiful and the facilities / rooms are fantastic. The staff are the biggest asset - they were so attentive and made our stay really special by always going above and beyond for us. The restaurant is also brilliant and we particularly loved the garden and pool areas. It feels really private and luxurious so we could not ask for more.

Owners are warm and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and delicious on the outdoor patio on the water. They have their own Tuk Tuk and boat to take you into town or across the water to the beach. The room and bathroom were large and very comfortable. The owners also drove us back to Colombo to catch our flight home. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Lunuganga Estate features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a restaurant and bar in Bentota. The hotel is obviously old and a bit expensive, but the service and overall value is exceptional. Turn down service, G&T cocktail hour, tea time, and tours of the iconic estate make it well worth it.

Lovely check-in experience. Beautiful and clean private beach plus pool area. Attentive service. We only stayed one night, but would have loved to stay longer.

Chandini's culinary skills were a highlight, providing the best Sri Lankan cuisine of my trip. I am grateful for their hospitality, as they genuinely made my Bentota visit memorable. The property is also stunning! The beautiful garden, ponds, and the array of plants and orchids added to its charm.

Perfect stay! We enjoyed quiet and beautiful nature. Rooms are spacious. Nice pool and beach nearby. Staff was very professional and polite, very helpful and friendly. We had great meals, very delicious, fresh fish and prowns -the cook is high level copliments! Breakfast was also very good! Service 5* hotel Also if you need they have a driver for daily trips or transfers. If we return to Bentota, our favorite place in Sri Lanka, we would choose the same place to stay!

The place was a little bit secret. From outside, we can not see how beautiful the interior is. It seems there are not too many customers in the hotel. It was quiet. From the hotel, we could walk to the beach. The second last night in Sri Lanka, the hotel was fantastic!

This place his a true gem, to the extent we stayed longer than originally planned. The owner is a true gentleman who does his utmost to ensure you have a great stay. We loved everything at this place; the room, the restaurant, every member of staff we met were so pleasant and really kind to our little boy. The proximity to the beach and the view from the balcony was just the best, a real slice of paradise and I wouldn't hesitate to return here, true 10/10.

Very nice, cosy and calm place. you will get a great view over the Bentota River for time of your breakfast and great service of the local staff. This is especially good for family with kids (like us, we are five )because these are two separate bungalows with a nice garden.
