We booked it with high expectations but also with some hesitation considering the (high) price. But all we can say now, is that we loved our 4 night stay here! It has exceed our expectations and for sure was worth the price. The staff was amazing, friendly and very professional. The hotel is so beautiful and everything is perfectly treated. The jungle surrounding the hotel and the hotel beach are amazing. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant food was delicious. I would suggest Datai Langkawi to anyone visiting Malaysia.

Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! So many food choices and I ate different things every single day! Hotel is very easy to reach to from Langkawi airport. The room was incredibly spacious and felt super clean! The facilities around the hotel are also very well kept and everything looks beautiful! One of our highlights was the beach area - super quiet and peaceful and very well equipped: enough sunbeds, paddle surf and kayak available, refreshments... The restaurants we tried were very good, specially Hai Yan

- furnishing (a bit dated but I personally like the gray color schema and chinoiserie style furniture). - view from our room.. the view of the sea the Maha tower (feels like Paris) pity the lack of Balcony - kids chanel (life saviour for a mum) - and the staff (my experience of Malaysian hospitality so far from KL.. I think Langkawi's service standards can really teach KL hotels something) -quick reception, quick check out -solution oriented staff -location -spacious bathroom, bath tub, shower stall

June is the most amazing, welcoming and helpful guy around. Brilliant host to a wonderful hostel and bar. Absolutely anything you need, June will help with. Okay now the hostel it's self. It's clean, spacious, got AC, room sizes are great, plenty of toilets/ showers, fridge, basic kitchen set up, hammocks and chill out areas. OH don't forget the cute little cats!! We will miss you all, thank you for the best stay in Langkawi and so far the best hostel we've stayed in in 3 months!!

Our stay in Nana‘s and Farsi‘s Home was just super nice. We came into Malaysia from overcrowded Thailand and we‘re so warmly welcomed by the people of Langkawi. The rooms in this place are clean, the surrounding is quiet and the breakfast just yummy. There are local restaurants round the corner, which serve excellent food. Overall a perfect stay, which was completed by a free of charge airport transfer. We can definitely recommend to stay here even longer! All the best to Nana and the whole team.

I personally could not think of anything to dislike this motel. It's an ideal location for majority of places. Helpful staff and nothing is too much trouble. Clean & decent size room, for only £12. You get no more no less. Great value for money. Can't get this price in UK hotels. Was told they v got new mgt since Aug 2022. So you can ignore those bad reviews prior to that. Definitely will come back again to Langkawi Malaysia and to this lovely little motel.

Omg I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They are so friendly and kind, we had a horrid experience in another hotel in Langkawi and Cloud9 was so friendly and lovely! We didn’t even realize we had arrived earlier than the checkin time but they quickly cleaned up our room and made us feel welcome. The staff is so nice and easy to work with, there’s lovely views and it feels like you’re living in nature. Exceptional! I will definitely visit here if I do come again

Great stay in Langkawi! Staff was extremely nice and welcoming. We got small treats from the bakery every day from them. Didn't stay much time around the hotel to enjoy the facilities but the pool looked very nice and clean. Room was good and well ventilated with AC. We also borrowed two scooters from them that was convenient to get around the island. They were good organizing tours for us and giving recommendations! I recommend!

I love to stay at De Baron Hotel. This my first time stay here eventhough visit a lot langkawi. Firstly my room very comfort, clean and has big space, The location is strategic. Away from crowded area. Close to the town. The beach was amazing. beautiful. I'm having breakfast while enjoying the sea sight. The bonus point is that swimming pool. My children love too. Overall, am very satisfied and sure come again and book here.

I really like this hotel. I stayed in a family room with two friends. We spent 4 days in Langkawi, and for almost 2 and a half days, it was raining, so we stayed in the hotel to rest. We also enjoyed having drinks and chatting at the small table outside our room in the evenings. If you're looking for a relaxing trip, you can consider choosing this hotel. The hotel owner and the bar owner are both very friendly.

The Danna Hotel is the best 5 star hotel in Langkawi. The welcome drinks and massage was a bonus. The room was amazing and very clean. The staff are very professional and friendly. The pool area is fantastic with amazing views and one can take many pictures with different views. I loved the hotel and would highly recommend it. I would rate it 10 out 10 for sure and would surely stay here again in my next visit.

Relativly close to the kuah-pier (Satun-Langkawi route) Cheap hotel, quiet area. Hotel is partly renovated. Rooms are ok. Staf communication could be better, but all problems solved. Don't expect luxery, just a good room to sleep. On Wednesday and Saturday tgere is a lifely nightmarket (we missed that) Taxi stand 50 meters away: fixed prices, fair. Food is available nearby in all directions.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Mercure Hotel in Langkawi. The pool was very big and great for kids as it had a kids pool in the back. The pool bar was great and the food and drinks cheap during Happy Hour. The breakfast buffet was also great and had a good variety of food. Our room was clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to Langkawi.

We had the top floor sea view suite, what a view to wake up to every morning for 10 days. The suite was perfect for us, close to local food spots and all attractions, also Langkawi Fair 5 minutes walk away. Getting a Grab ride was easy, no more than 4 minutes wait ever. We will certainly be returning to Langkawi Seaview Hotel, we enjoyed our stay and were made to feel at home.

I like the environment of the hostel and what most important is the warm welcome by the hostel owner, Ms Nadia.I had to check in early and she made my stay comfortable and memorable.The second night I was there,they invited me and the other travellers for a bbq and chilling out session.I felt welcomed.I would come again if I ever go to Langkawi and stay at the same hostel.

The staff were very friendly and gave me some great recommendations for local activities. The room was very clean and well equipped with everything I needed. The hotel's close proximity to the airport (less than a 5-min drive) was an added bonus for my early morning flight. Overall, a fantastic stay in Langkawi, and one of the best hotels I stayed at in Malaysia!

There was nothing to be liked. The only advantage is it's near to Cenang and tengah beach.. driving in P Langkawi is not a big deal.. it's very convenient to go to famous places if you know how to drive. Those who use taxi and don't like to stay in hotels and apartments, is a good place to stay. But you have to accept the very low quality facilities here

Hotel's territory is very large and covered with beautiful jungles. Wildlife watching (seeing leaf monkeys, flying lemur, hornbills is almost guaranteed). Great food both for breakfast and dinner (we tried buffet in the main restaurant and a la carte in Thai restaurant). Close proximity to Langkawi cable car (just 5 min walking). Great value for money.

The area is very quiet! The staff is amazing and very helpful ! The cleaning is like 5 stars hotels even better. Thank you to the housekeepers👍. You can rent a scooter to explore Langkawi at the hotel. It is very convenient. The beach is at foot distance 10mins roughly. It was our first time but not the last at fuuka hostel. We highly recommend this place.
