Ysbrantsz Boutique Hotel offers free WiFi throughout the property and rooms with air conditioning in the city centre of Hoorn. Guests can make use of a garden. Room was stylish and comfortable, large by Netherland standards. The bed was firm with nice sheets and a superior shower. Staff was lovely. We enjoyed going into the bar for a drink.

Van der Valk Hotel Hoorn is located next to motorway A7 and offers accommodations with free WiFi. Alkmaar is 24 km away. Excellent hotel, perfect venue for the ice rink. The rooms were so quiet. Everything was great.

Die Port van Cleve is a cosy hotel situated in the city centre of Enkhuizen, along the harbor. The train station and tourist information office are a 3-minute walk away. Classic Dutch charm in a great position. Thé staff were so friendly and all spoke English. Nothing was to much trouble.

De Magneet is located along the harbor of Hoorn, within walking distance of the city centre. The hotel has a private parking and an intimate café. Cooked Breakfast daily, plus cold meats, cheeses, salad, cereals, fresh fruit, selection of breads etc, juices. Fresh pots of coffee, tea…in a “gezelig” setting. While no elevator, the staff carried luggage both upstairs on our arrival, and downstairs on our departure. Warm, friendly staff. And a free ride to the train station to make our train connection when we left!

Made to order breakfast, well presented and tasty. The room was large and had two chairs and ample space for suitcases.

Located near the Markermeer, Hotelhuisjes Oosterleek offers detached rooms (Little Hotel Houses) next to a farmhouse.. Each has a terrace with views. It is a very quite “village” style place, with chooks, ships, ducks and many more. Beautiful place the relax. Strongly recommend! Ask host for e-bikes.

Great location in the countryside and near the coast for bike rides. A special mention for Sandra who goes above and beyond to make her guests stay as comfortable as possible with lovely breakfast delivered to the door in the morning. Also I asked about bike hire in the area and she was kind enough to lend me one of their own bikes to ride to Enkhuizen. Lovely scenery with views over the fields of cows and nice a private from the other accommodations.

Hotel Medemblik is situated in a charming town set on one of Europe's largest inland lakes, the IJsselmeer. Ideally located in the city centre, you can walk around the town and park your car for free.... Superb, comfortable room in one of the best locations Staff were incredibly professional and helpful Views and bar/terrace very nice Very convenient for touring Medemblik's hot spots Will definitely come back for horse racing in September!
